"I wouldn't try that if I were you.." Jayce said, glancing back at her. " I haven't even figured out what all roams here at night and what it can do, and I've lived here since I was four.." He added.

Her eyes glistened slightly when she glanced at him from the corner of her eye.

Jayce didn't seem to notice. He raised his head, the hair falling slightly back out of his face as he did so, and let out a long howl.

She ignored him. "So, I have no other choice but to just stay here?"

Jayce smirked. "Pretty much.." He said flatly. "But not here, exactly..Follow me," With that, he shifted into a wolf and trotted off into the trees, his ears flicking as he did so.

Chaos followed him silently as she looked up at the sky again

Soon jayce walked upon a small area with concrete over the floor and cracked bricks and ashes lying everywhere. He scooted through a crack in between the bricks still standing and curled into a ball near a small pile of ashes with a sigh. "Result of a forest fire.." He muttered.

She just sat there. "So...you life outside? It's not as safe,"

Jayce sighed. "You think I don't know that?" He asked, closing one eye and staring up at her with the other. "My house burned in a forest fire.." he added, closing both eyes and resting his head on his paws.
