
Seeing as the boy's match was over, Lucy hesitated for a moment. It was unlike her to literally 'show' interest, but she couldn't help but admire his training abilities. Or perhaps it was just a tough Pokemon. Either way, as cocky as she was now with her own Pokemon, she couldn't help to think that her own fire starter would be a breeze for his.
In her moment of thinking, he approached first.
"I wanted to see how others battled," she replied without a verbal return greeting; instead just nodding.
"You just happened to notice me first." Her deeper reasoning was the fact of having two trainers would be better than one. Thinking strategically, if her Pokemon couldn't do the job, this his could, or vice versa. This was all due to the fact that again, traveling would be better than going alone.
"You know, for...traveling purposes," she added more quietly.
Equality, Spirituality, Freedom, and Unity all require a simple, yet almost unattainable thing. Balance. And yet, when the world breaks us down to our most basic level, that is when we are open to the greatest change.
