Toby gently took him off the tree. "I'm sorry Dray but you won't be able to get down if you do manage to get up. And besides. We don't need to climb trees to be awesome. We're dogs," he said. Ebony giggled a little bit.

"but, I'd be even MORE awsome," Dray stopped for a second to puff out his chest. He then went back to trying again and again. Gracie sat next to Toby.

Toby took him down again. "You are more awesome then most dogs. You and your sister and your mother," he said. Kit heard Atticus and figured he was hungry. She started getting a bottle ready for him.

"No, I need to climb this tree," Dray kept trying. Gracie licked Toby happily. Elana had fallen asleep on the couch. Shane walked in and got a glass of water. He had completely forgotten to take out his splinters.

Kitayla looked over at Shane and sighed. "Working with wood again?" she asked him. Atticuswas now suckling on a bottle happily. "Dray, I said no," Toby said and took him off the tree.

"no, you didn't,"Dray said complaining. Shane looked at his hands. "Uh...yeah." Elana was still asleep on the couch.

"Well fine then no, you can't climb the tree. I'm sorry," Toby said then laid down. Ebony rolled her eyes at her stubborn brother. Kitayla sighed and finished feeding Atticus. She placed him in the high chair then went over to Shane and started taking out the splinters.

Dray saw Ebony roll her eyes at him and jumped on her. Shane sat and watched Kitayla start to take his splinters out. Elana was still...sleeping.

Ebony yelped and started laughing. She rolled over and pinned him down. Kitayla was still taking splinters out of his hands. "Wow, you have a lot in there," she said, not looking happy about it.

Shane didn't answer. He gently pulled his hands away and gently kissed her cheeks before going back outside. Shane didn't let her finish taking out his splinters. Dray rolled over again and pinned her.
