There were even more knights in the town by that time. So, everytime she or Shane went into town, they had to be extra careful. Kitayla had even gotten a black wig to keep her blue hair from showing. But, life was going pretty good. Kit ms belly by then was the size of a basketball and she could feel the baby. She was still sleeping. Willow was completely healed and was currently outside. Toby was following Shane around.

Shane was wide awake. He always got up this early or even earlier. Shane started milking the cow, "Toby after this do you want to come hunting with me?" He liked having Toby around, especially when Kit was sleeping or doing something else. Shane kept in tough with Amethyst and told her how Kit was when he was in town and she wasn't. She even kept him posted on the royals.

Toby barked in excitement and his tail started wagging faster. Kitayla woke up and got something to eat before going outside. Her hands were under her belly trying to take away some of the baby's weight. The baby was kicking at the time too.

Shane had finished by the time she was coming out. He was carrying the pale and saw her, "Morning, Kit." He smiled and went up to her. He kissed her softly. "How do you feel?"

Kitayla smiled slightly and kissed him back. "Fat," she answered truthfully, she was smiling though. Kit then took the hand not carrying the pale and put it on her stomach where the baby was kicking.

"You're not fat," Shane chuckled and smiled when he felt the baby. "It's very active." He observed. Shane looked in her eyes. "Three months right?"

Kitayla smiled nervously. "Yeah," she said softly and rubbed her stomach. Kit looked back into Shane's eyes and then hugged him. Her belly separated them a little bit.

Shane hugged her back the best he could with a pale in his hand, "Don't worry, Amethyst will come and help you." He ran his hand through her hair. "don't worry."

Kitayla nodded then took the pail from him and took it inside. Kitayla then came back outside and sat down in the grass. Willow came up to her and sat in her lap like a cat.

Shane watched her and then went to the chickens and saw an egg had hatched. He took the chick and ran/ walked over. "Kit look!" He then should her the little chick.
