The next morning, at 5:30AM, Haley was awoken to the song
Bad Romance. Legarthically crawling out of bed, she went to her armoire and took out her outfit. Laying it carefully on her bed, she put on her robe and tied it, heading to her
bathroom. Opening a drawer, she withdrawed a comb and smoothed the knots in her hair. To the right of her was her makeup that she pulled closer towards her. Carefully opening it, she bent down to look in a magnifying mirror as she applied eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. After her eyes were finished, she brushed on blush and polished her lips with a light pink lipgloss.
Walking out of the bathroom and back into her bedroom, she carefully pulled her shirt over her body, avoiding her face. She hopped into her skinny jeans and put on her necklace. Walking back into the bathroom, she plugged in her curling iron and rollers as she headed downstairs to whip up herself some breakfast.
Opening the fridge, she rummaged around for leftovers, but failed to find any. Nonchalantly walking over to the pantry, she once again rummaged around and found nothing breakfast-related except a granola bar. Not even cereal. Sighing, she shoved five granola bars into her arms and ran back up stairs, having to constantly stop because they kept falling out of her arms one at a time.
Throwing her 'breakfasts' on her bed, she rushed back into her bathroom, where she carefully stuck the rollers in her hair for ten minutes. The heat rose up and she could feel it burning against her skin, but she decided to just shake it off. She ripped open one granola bar, quickly gulping it down in huge chunks, nearly choking. As she glanced at the clock, it was 6:10, so she had a little more time to finish getting ready.
At 6:20, she removed the rollers and used her curling iron to add some finishing touches. Finally, she was already for her first day of school. Walking back into her bedroom, she slipped on her red slouch boots and grabbed her four other granola bars, three held in one arm and the other being opened and being chomped on. Haley slung her backpack over her shoulder and got into her car.
Her mom was to meet her at school for the conference. Turning the keys in the ignition, the car jumped to life with a great roar, and Haley backed her way to school, the time being 6:30.
