"Yeah. Sweet to you." Tony replied sarcastically, studying Lioko with soft brown eyes. "He is kinda cute when he's sleeping... When he isn't jabbering constantly. Kinda peaceful." He laughed softly, stroking the back of Andria's hand with a finger.

As Stefan finished, fishing out money for the bill, he chuckled, listening as Kyu rambled on and on and on. He didn't mind listening to her, of course.

Andria gave a soft smile, taking her free hand and gently running it over the bird's velvety feathers. She didn't mind that he bit her last time. Maybe he didn't recognize her, due to the... changing.

Kyu had her chin rested in her hands while her elbows were propped up on her table. She didn't speak of nothing like most girls. She babbled about everything with a lot of feeling and thought put into what she said, she just had a LOT to say. "...but they never really stop and really think what they're saying, ya know? I mean, of COURSE he wasn't drunk or high when he wrote Alice in Wonderland. You can't just get wasted and then write a literary masterpiece like that. They're weird books, yeah, but it's obviously got a lot of thought put behind the madness. Like a controlled chaos if that makes any sense. I think people just say 'he must have drunk when he wrote it' because they don't know what else to say about something so different. Oh hey, are you done? How did you like the food?"

Stefan gave a chuckle. "You know, I've actually never seen Alice in Wonderland. And the food was fine." he replied, standing and nodding towards the waiter as they made their way outside. Stefan visibly flinched as a car sped by, it's engine roaring quite loudly.

Kyu flinched as well, tensing for an attack of some sort in response to Stefan's unrest. She relaxed slightly when she realized the cause was just a passing car, but she understood. Crossing streets with Stefan now was murder for her because of the accident. "...Yeah, I've seen the movie and read the books. I can't say I like one more than the other though. They're both really cool in their own separate ways..." Her voice trailed off there and she gave up. She'd lost her train of thought and her drive to keep talking Stefan's ear off.

"We should watch the movie together sometime..." Stefan mumbled very quietly, gently taking her hand in his as they began the walk back to the caravan, walking down the sidewalk. His misty eyes kept flicking warily back to the road as he limped on by. He still had nightmares about the flashing ambulance lights, the sound of an engine oh-so-loud, the blaring of a horn as his frail body was crumbled by the steel of the car.

[Falls]

Kyu nodded but said nothing in response. She watched the sidewalk as they walked over it, her eyes skimming over the cracks and pebbles as she thought back to that horrible day. She'd never been more scared in her life about anything before, much less for someone besides herself. "Thank you. For the food, I mean..." she interjected.

"No problem." Stefan said, the silence dragging on after that. Finally, he spoke once again; "You're awfully quiet, darling." he murmured as he gently held her hand, walking onto the dirt road.

[Falls]

Kyu shrugged. "I'll bet anything sounds awfully quiet after I've been talking," she said, trying for a joke to cut the tension. She looked up and noticed the big top tent was up in the distance. Ringmaster must've set it up while they were gone.
