Roslynn whimpered and lowered near the ground, ears back and tail tucked as she doggy crawled over and coward at his feet. She trembled at the pain and looked up at him with large puppy eyes that seemed fearful, which was a first for the hound.

[Falls]

Ringmaster pulled his hand out of the jar, caked with goo. He croutched down to George's level and drew from the inner folds of his coat a red handchercheif. After wrapping it as a protective layer around his good hand, he took hold of the burning collar and lifted it slightly. "Hold still. This'll help the pain." He slid his fingers onto the ravaged skin on George's neck and began to glob the salve over the burned ring around her neck. "You are my property and therefore my responsibility." He seemed to be talking for the benefit of someone else's ears rather than George's. "No one has the right to deform or injure you but myself because I OWN YOU. As your owner, I will strive to remove the marks on you that are not delivered by my hand." He was trying to strengthen the weakening ownership link between them, speaking softly but firmly and methodically as if halfway in an odd trance. He continued to speak as he rubbed the salve over the red skin, his face calm and focused.

Roslynn winced as the collar was lifted, carefully watched him with appreciative eyes as she whimpered softly. The pain dulled a bit and the collar cooled the smallest degree as he spoke, his sudden calmness covering the pain brought fear, even the anger was soothed a bit. Without really thinking she licked his chin, though it could've been mistaken for her nose, in gratefullness as her tail tip wagged for a split second under her. At the moment, she seemed more like a fearful, mindless animal seeking comfort than the intellegent, self-dependant hound-girl she was.

Stefan gave a chuckle. "Not particularly. But you have." he said lightly with a smile, silently wondering if they should get back, lest they be left behind by the caravan. His misty grey eyes met Kyu's, the light shining on them, showing the swirling colours and storms within.

[Falls]

Kyu grinned. "I suppose I have..." Her voice trailed off as she watched the mist in Stefan's eyes, their complexity pulling her in hook, line and sinker. She tore her eyes away from them and opened her mouth, trying to form some sort of sentence. When nothing unique came to mind, she fell on the obvious but very true cliched declaration instead. "I love you Stefan," she murmured softly as her eyes roamed over the sand.

Ringmaster sneered at Roslynn's reaction but bit back any smart remarks he thought of at that moment. He finished smearing the glop around her neck and let the collar go, dropping the ruined handkerchief to the dirt. Then he stood and turned, pointing a firm hand towards the caravan. "Now we really are leaving. Come, George." He strode towards the line of wagons and mounted the one on the very front, taking up the elephant's reins.

Arah watched the three (Andria, Erik and the other guy) curiously. Her feet swinging in the air as if she was dangling them above a deck. She was almost always curious to see if the living people did anything different then they did 150 years ago.

Jacob closed the ointment and jogged up to Tumba, climbing onto the pachyderm's back. He laid on his back comfortably, positioning himself on the neck of the elephant.

Roslynn blinked at his sneere and her ears pinned as she quickly recoiled and returned to 'herself'. She stood and shook out her pelt Thanks.... she grumbled in his head then snapped her head at Zyperis, her glare daring him to say something about how she had just been acting. Wings slowly opened and with a large sweep and a leap she lifted into the air and spiraled in a sort of cork screw then glided down to the caravan, landed and walked at the rear

Arah peered down at Jacob "Whatcha doin?" She asked, bored. She had popped up out of no where.
