I had just finished making some weird snare that the instructor taught me when he arrived. My competitive streak made me shoot a particularly venomous glare at Grant before I decided to wipe those smug grins off of the Careers' faces. Delibaretly and briskly, I walked over to the weapons area, skillfully dodging anything that came my way. There, I picked up a beautiful ivory bow, and slung the quiver onto my back. The targets were too easy, so I prepared an arrow and waited silently. As usual, the Careers were ignoring me. Percect. One of the boys was fooling around with some kind of chain that had a spiked ball on the end, swinging it above his head. I raise dmy bow, pulled back, and aimed. Swooosh! The very tip of the arrowhead caught the small hole in one of the chains, swiftly dragging the thing completely out of the stunned Career's hands. It impaled itself onto a motionless target thirty yards behind him, me smirking with triumph at them. Oh, I had many other tricks up my sleeve. All they needed to know was my bow skills and that they shouldn't mess with me.

District 4||Training||Grant Odair

Grant made sure to keep a calm matter, even when he saw Josslyn's hateful look directed at him. In fact, eh pretended to not even notice, just pretend-focusing on his station. The instructor believed it, so gave Grant a quick quiz. "This plant? This? How about this? Hm... here's a hint: it's used to treat burns. Let's go to the next one, then. This?" Grant managed to get every single one wrong. Plants aren't my thing. He thought to himself. With a shrug, he faced to instructor. "Sorry, I don't think I'm very good with botaninny." The instructor rolled their eyes, correcting Grant that it was 'bottany,' not boaninny. Grant gave a quick laugh and turned around, saying goodbye to the instructor and wishing him the best of luck that there would be better people to train. Without another word, he parted to the camoflouge station. Haha... this'll be fun. The boy thought, picturing him dying either his or someone else's hair pink on accident. Grant didn't of course let the thought on, but instead began copying the others without a word. This is easy, he thought. That was, until the instructor told him he was using the wrong material, and that that one would stain skin or clothes. Looking down at his arm and jeans, that wasn't a good sign. He looked up, laughing. "Oops. There's ways using saltwater to get this out, right?" The instructor shrugged. I'm doing completely horrible. This is working.

After making all he Careers' jaws drop, I set down the bow and quiver, walking off to something more simple.

District 4||Training||Grant Odair

Okay... just one thing I like. He had been nagging himself on whether he should do something he was actually good at or not. But what? He looked around, seeing over the stations that were his specialty. Not something too dangerous-looking, even though people already have a feeling on what I can do. Maybe I can lead them in the wrong direction, hopefully. Grant walked to the rope knotting area, making a bit of conversation with the teacher. Then, when the instructor began, Grant pretended to be listening as he droned on about the simple overhand knot, but was caught doing something much more complicated. The instructor blinked, amazed. "Okay, I think you know your knots. But, let's work on something.. harder. Much harder." He began to teach Grant a new knot, to which thankfully he caught on to. The instructor finally stopped after fifteen minutes of complex nots, and Grant tossed him back the untangled string. "Thanks, man. Later." Grant turned away on his heels, surveying the place and wondering what to do next.

I slipped out of my room, wearing a simple outfit for training. Some dark grey jeans, a black tank top, and some slightly worn running shoes. I smiled, satisfied that my stylist didn't give me anything ridiculous to wear to training. I quickly put my blonde hair up in a simple braid down my shoulder and made my way over to the elevator.

Mandy slipped on some black training pants, a loose but not huge blue t-shirt, and some barely worn running shoes. He combed his hair quickly and brushed his teeth after eating some bacon, eggs, and fruit that was served to him. he jogged down the hall to the training room impatiently, wanting to see Violet again as they hadn't had a chance to meet since the night on the rooftop.

I stepped out of the elevator, still putting my hair in a braid as i held the hair bow between my teeth. I slipped the hair bow around the braid and sighed, walking down the hall towards the training room. I turned a corner and saw Mandy, smiling and walking up behind him silently. I covered his eyes from behind. " Guess who?" I asked playfully.

Mandy froze with surprise. He closed his eyes and lowered Violet's hands. "The peson I love most," he said quietly, reconizing her voice in a heart beat. Turning around, his eyes met hers and he knew, that he'd never forget her. He pulled her happily into his arms, tears starting to bubble up into his eyes as he kissed her forehead gently.
