Grant looked at her, leaning up against the wall. "So... what's up?" He grinned, although not knowing what else to say. He was still a bit tongue-tied, so he was lucky that was able to come out of his mouth.

Ready?" he asked as he started to hum the song again, giving Violet some times as they danced on the roof top.

Grant laughed a bit. "Hey, at least you didn't break anything!" He blinked. "Did it even hurt?" He had a fake-challenge look. His voice was obviously joking. "Because... you don't want to look weak, do you?" His expression and voice obviously gave it away that he was joking, so he wouldn't offend her. He leaned in, whispering, "By the way, I'm joking-" He leaned back out, folding his arms. "I really do talk too much."

Grant nodded, replying to her first comment. "Well, then." He didn't know how else to respond to that, but on her second comment, the District 4 boy had been told some things resembling it before. "Hey, thanks," He said with fake airs. "I guess it works. I mean, I don't notice half the time, and if you're cool with it, that's great. Just, give me the word if I need to shut up. Okay?"
