I've seen this before, so I shrugged as if it were nothing. "Again, not a mindreader but you didn't strike a nerve. I'm being serious when I say it was a good thing to volunteer at the reaping. Live in luxury before my final days? Count me in." For Grant's sake, I smiled at him.

"Yeah, I guess." Grant tired to force a smile, but only a small one came. His voice was sympathetic when he spoke. "Hey, I'm gonna go to my room, alright? Sorry." He sighed, and turned away, walking to his designated room.

Mandy laughed. "Now it all depends on a song the step." He hummed a song quietly, "we're going to dance to that beat okay. Ready?" he asked as he started to hum the song again, giving Violet some times as they danced on the roof top.

Grant laughed a bit, but quickly stopped, fearing she may take it the wrong way. "I-oh-I wasn't laughing at you. It's just... I have done that before, and I think it's funny how we both have. I seriously wasn't laughing at you." His expression was still serious, and he had no mind to change it.

Grant smiled, relaxing a bit. This was probably what he needed. A girl he knew a bit more, and not in a crowd of too many people. He had a better sense of how she worked than he did with Jesse, so he was thankful. "Thanks," He said, relieved. "But, are you sure?" He managed to get back his playful cocky tone, pretending to be a sneaky snob, but made it obvious he was joking.

Grant laughed, grinning. "Hey, hey, Jackalope! I didn't get a chance to change out of this stiff tux. Sor-ry!" He said mock-obnochiously. He brushed off one of his deep blue sleeves. "Yeah... give me a second. I'm gonna get outta this junk." He laughed, holding up a finger to indicate to give him a moment. He slipped into a room and tossed on simple, torn-up jeans and a simple gray shirt. Grant also swapped out his shoes for black basketball high-tops. Afterwards, he walked back out to Josslyn. He turned, laughing. "Better?"
