Grant looked at Jesse, nodding. He kept his naturally cocky tone, but added friendliness. "Yeah, we made up." He gave a silent sigh. A moment later, he began trying to make conversation. "So... what's your name?"

I did sign language, spelling out J-E-S-S-E. Then I held up ten fingers, plus one for my District. 11. Then I pointed at him with a shrug, wondering who he was and where he came from.

Grant nodded, knowing a bit of sign language. "Jesse." He said, making sure he got it right. "District 11." He blinked, knowing that part was right. Deciding it would make conversation and be the casual thing, he added, "I'm Grant. From District 4." Ge grinned, holding out his hand for Jesse to shake. Um... is he mute? Grant wondered.

He widened his eyes, being taken by surprise. Yet, he grinned, laughter tracing his voice as he said, "Dude! You can like, read minds! Epic!"

Grant rolled his eyes, pretending to be angry, but obviously not. "Hey, you ruined it! You could've tricked everyone into thinking you could read minds. It'd be funny." After a moment, he added. "Well, maybe only me, but whatever!" He laughed.

Grant nodded, beginning. "I wouldn't mind telling, actually. It all started after we apologized to one another. She and I looked out the window, and she wouldn't loo-" He cut himself off. What am I doing? The boy had a good feeling that it wouldn't be very nice to tell his idea about Josslyn. After all, if it was flipped and she was the one telling the story, Grant would be upset. Deciding he couldn't back down, the boy brought out a lucky skill that could often be used. He picked up where he left off. "Sorry, flubbed. I meant, she couldn't look at the Capitol's emblem in the room. She was simply disgusted. We got into a conversation, and I accidently sparked a little fight. Soon after, I apologized, but it still stressed me out." He nodded, grinning and pleased with the story. Also, Grant had made sure to keep it under detection of cameras, so they couldn't use it against them.
