Wesley bit at her lip. She felt like he didn't really want to be there, but she knew it was just her feeling that way. She was pushing herself away from something that was good. From something that actually liked her and wanted to take care of her. Wesley shook her the thought away of someone like that. She bit at her lip again, pushing herself away still. Not physically, but in her mind she was hiding herself from him. Wesley didn't want to give to much out and then get hurt. "I like your sister," she said quietly watching her play.

Eli chuckled to himself when he heard Wesley's comment. "Yes. She is quite a character. Right now she is skipping from stone to stone trying not to step into the lava." He explained. He pointed to the lush grass near his sister's feet. The 'stones' were what Lizzie's feet were acctually on. "Oh and when she looked like she was flying, she had jumped off a cliff that was blocking her. It is the uncrossable canyon. The only way to get across is to fly." His cheeks had a red tint to them. "Umm, she's made me play the game with her many times." He said this so Wesley wouldn't think that he was weird. He had infact played the game many times with his imaginative sister, but he had also enjoyed playing it with her. He resumed watching his sister. His eyes followed her making sure she couldn't possibly get hurt.

Wesley listened Eli speak about what the game his sister was playing. She smiled, before geting up and walking over to Lizzie. "Can I play?" she asked with a smile. She loved playing games with children and she felt that maybe this would get some of her uncomfortable feelings out.

"Sure." Lizzie said. A smile spread across her face. "All you gotta do is...not touch the lava. If you touch the lava then your dead. And you don't wanna be dead." She shook her head. Bouncing to the next 'stone', she landed slightly unsteady but was able to stabalize herself with her arms. She turned around and waited for Wesley to follow.

Wesley looked at Lizzie and smiled. "Okay," she replied to her when she was giving her the instructions of how to play. She watched Lizzie bounce to the next stone. Wesley glanced at Eli before back at his sister. She took her turn of hopping to the next stone, being careful not to touch the 'lava.'

Eli smiled as he saw his sister and Wesley hopping around the park. He laughed but hid it from the two. Lizzie kept skipping and bounding until she had come to the spot where she stood. "We have to swim from here to over there. It's a deep river with a strong current so be careful. It could pull you away." Lizzie informed Wesley. She waited till the older girl had caught up then 'dove' in. She headed toward the soccer field. The end of the 'river' was the first white line. She swung her arms as if she was swimming and kicked her feet up. Eli couldn't wait to see what Wesley would do about that. He thought it was very sweet of her to play with his sister. Maybe she'd come back to his appartment to have lunch with them?

Wesley bit her lip a little wondering what she looked like doing this. She must have looked crazy, but she didn't care. She was having fun playing with Lizzie. Wesley kept following the five year old (right??) until she stopped. She halted also looking to where Lizzie was talking about as the deep and strong 'river.' "I'll make sure I don't get sucked away," Wesley said with a smile and a small laugh. 'Diving' into the river, she swung and kicked, imitating Eli's younger sister. She pretended to almost get pulled back before putting more strength in and meeting the girl at the end of the river.

Lizzie reached the 'river bank' and turned around looking for Wesley. She jumped and clapped as she watched her swim through the current. "Yay! You made it. I'm gunna go see what Eli is up to." With that she bounded across the park with her destination set in her mind. She charged into the innocent boy who was sitting on a park bench. "Hey Lizzie what are you doing?" Eli asked after she had rammed her head into his gut. "I'm hungry." Simple enough. "Okay well let's see if Wesley wants to join us." Eli looked up waiting for her to come.

Wesley smiled watching the little girl go see Eli. She looked down at Sam and Tilly who came over. "No," she told them. "Stop that," she added. "Guys! Please," she said getting a little irritated with them. They were nagging her and she didn't like that. Wesley walked off from them when they kept talking. She smiled at Eli and Lizzie sitting on the edge of the bench. "That was fun," she told Lizzie with a smile. Wesley looked over at Sam and Tilly who walked off in the other direction for the time being. She could still hear them.

Lizzie smiled when Wesley said she had had fun. "Mm! Yay!" She giggled. "Would you like to join us for lunch? Lizzie had to come over to me to ask for lunch and she and I would both like it if you joined us. And if you have nothing better to do, we have lots of fun stuff to do today, and as I think about, this weekend. Like swimming at the pool, going to the zoo, things like that. Would you care to join us?" Eli finally got to the point. "Oh and of course, you don't have to. Umm, or you don't have to do all of it with us. Umm it's just whatever you want to do, or like join us in doing, umm. I'm just going to stop talking now." He looked down at the ground, his face burning with embarassment. Lizzie was waiting for Wesley's answer with a beaming face of innocents.
