Despite Fenrir's earlier hesitancy with Cal, he looked up at their owner with a rather pleased expression, still cradling his son. His snowy tail thumped on the floor, and he would've barked happily, but he didn't want to wake Zev.

Seeing Fenrir being so easy around Cal made her relax a little. She cradled Katrra and Validia gently so they wouldn't wake. A small smile spread across her lips when she looked up at Cal again.
