Gareth picked up Nikita, who hissed once more at Zareb before perching herself on his shoulder, sitting with her chest puffed out to boast her pride. Gareth looked back at her. "Now I kinda want Zareb to prick you, Nikita. You deserve it," he said sarcastically. Nikita responded by batting playfully at his neck. "Yeah yeah."

Firone considered Celia, then said, slowly, "Why the need to watch everyone.... Why not?" Kina laughed at Celia as she jumped in fright. She nodded at Amber. "I'm Kina, and this is Firone. So how are you coping with the crowd? Are you running into people, jumping at any small noise, or considering hiding in a corner?"

Amberleaf grinned. "No, thank God! Nah, I'm just kinda being normal. Although I don't normally tend to like crowds. I went home and talked to a friend of mine on Facebook chat, but then my Mom said that I absolutely need to be here.... So I walked back. I didn't get in trouble for missing school, thankfully." She laughed.

Firone smiled and shook his head wonderingly. "I can't argue with that," he said to Celia. He looked around as an gruff voice came from the front of the room. "First day announcements are beginning." Kina nodded and watched in silence as a teacher explained the first day proceedings to the crowd.

Amber concentrated on the teacher's voice. It was droning on and boring.... She almost dozed off, but Aero poked her hard in the shoulder. She resisted the urge to yell, "Ow!" but instead just poked him hard in the chest. "Grr," she hissed at him.

Gareth perked his head at the sound of the announcements and turned his attention to a fat, bald man explaining the class and such. His forehead was sweating a if it was exhausting for him just to talk. Nikita snickered. "Poor man's gonna have a heart attack up there." Gareth smiled, but stayed focused.

Shrugging when Miarr asked Kayla if she watned to go to the group, she looked at them for a little while, and sighed. "Fine, let's go." Ruffling Miarr's scruff absentmindedly, girl and snow leopard daemon walked slowly towards the group. On arrival, Kayla waited for a pause in the talking to introduce herself. "Hey," she started. "My name's Kayla, and this is my daemon Miarr." she finished, waving her hand towards Miarr.
