In the year 2020 hybrids were discovered, they had a human form, a half human form, and a full animal form. There were several different kinds, but all were considered too dangerus, too powerful and they were cast out by the government. What happened to them? They were hunted down and killed when found. Of course the government told the public that they were not human, therefore, it was not murder. But there was hope for the survivers. There is a portal in the small town where you live that only animals can sense, or hybrids in their animal form. It leads to the Forest of Trials. If a hybrid wishes to leave Earth and go to the sanctuary they must pass through. The Forest of Trials is very dangerus and only the strong survive.

Scarlet sat in the alley, she wanted to go through the forest already but she was too scared to go alone... She was only 13 and wasn't strong enough to go by herself. The humans annoyed her, everything they didn't understand was scary to them. Her mom died giving birth to her and her father had abandoned her. Scarlet sighed and stood up, "Someone must want to come with me." she muttered to herself.

Scarlet opened up a bag full of food she had stolen earlier, she didn't like to steal but she was an outlaw now and it was either steal food or die. She took out a banana and started to eat it.
