Katniss opened her eyes to a thump and the bottom of her tree. She quickly took her bow, standing up, arrow notched. She aimed at the kid at the bottom, but realized he was much older than she was, she had to think about this. What if she missed? Could he climb? Is he dangerous? Katniss sighed and climbed higher just in case he would climb. She aimed at his head, letting go of the arrow.
It missed.
She gasped as it zoom past his head, centimeters from hitting his skull. She gasped and took her things, stuffing the rope in her backpack and jumping for a tree, missing and hitting the ground. Hard. She winced at the pain, crying, her foot was cut and nearly broken. She tried running, but that didn't work. She fell, tumbling down a hill, hitting the water. She came up whimpering and gasping for air. She tried to climb a tree. But she knew it was no use. She sat at a rock, holding her bow, notched with an arrow, seeing if he would come and kill her.
