Normally, she would have walked over and gave him a hug. This time, no emotion overpowered her. Except for sadness. All she did was walk closer and gently put her hand on her shoulder, "I know how it is, and if I win, I promise to teach Tom how to fish." What did I just say?! Noelle facepalmed herself, "Sorry, that was not the right thing to say." Her hand was still planted on his shoulder. "Thanks. That... that means a lot to me." Tide murmured, a small smile on his face. A small shudder ran through his body when she touched him. It wasn't noticable, but to him, he knew that his feelings were true. He turned his gaze up towards Noelle and just held her gaze for a few moments. He was finally coming to grips with the fact that he probably wasn't going to be coming home. Inwardly he smiled a little. If he couldn't go home... then he knew who he wanted to go home instead. Noelle. As he watched the others around him, and Noelle, he began to devise a plan.
