Noelle looked at him and tried to speak, but words did not want to come out. What?! I can't help it if I was picked in the reaping! Why is he so mad at me? I hardly ever knew him! Thoughts raced through her mind. "You know I can't help it that I was picked in the reaping." She said calmly. Although she was starting to loose her cool. It was easy for Noelle to hide her emotions from other people. "About the interviews, what color theme will Ceaser Flickerman be doing his hair and eyes this year?" Noelle was trying to spark up a conversation. Not exacty with Tide, but with the whole little pod around. The image of his blue eyes staring at her with such hatred in them made her shiver. What could it be?

"It's no one's fault that we got picked in the Reaping." Tide murmured, still refusing to look at Noelle. But this time, his voice was quiet. Gentle, almost. He relaxed a little visably, his fists turning into flattened palms against his knees. "I'm betting yellow." He said good naturedly, trying to earn back his friendly attitude.
Hello there. :) I'm incredibly sorry for my disappearence from this website, but I have had NOOOO time to do things like this. XD I've been so busy. But some of my activities will slow down come Winter, so I think I'll be able to come back. But there's one problem. This account is REALLY cluttered. :/ I hate having 43 pages of pointless/dead roleplays and things. And I've let it sit inactive for a while, so it is kind of pointless. I'm hopefully going to have the same username, so come friend me! :"D

(Sorry I haven't been on all day)

Karter

Karter looked at the TV screen on the wall "I really hate that everyone else seems better prepared than someone who only knows how to swing an axe" Karter said "I think this is our stop" He said as the train slowed down. "After you" he said when the train door opened. At least I know one person Karter thought.

Noelle smiled lightly, "My father always said that it would be yellow every year just to get a rise out of me when I was young. For some reason the word 'yellow' made me laugh." Tide was so much like her Dad. After a few moments, Noelle got up and walked over to him. She kept her distance though. "I am going to say purple." For a moment Noelle drifted back to District 4, where she would sit on the dock and dip her toes in the water while her favorite Coi named Holly would nibble at them. Holly always managed to avoid the nets, she lived under the dock. The flats began to hurt her feet, that was what brought her back to reality. Flipy-Floppies were so much better. She looked up at Tide and began to smile again.

"Thinking about 4?" Tide asked softly, a mild frown on his face as he looked at Noelle. He studied her for a few heartbeats, his deep blue eyes full of gaurded emotions. "I know I am." He added. His words were meant for only Noelle. He sought out her gaze for a few moments, before dropping it and looking away. He could hear his younger brother's laughter, as they walked along the beach. 'Teach me how to fish, Tide! You've gotta teach me how to fish!' Timothy had cried, running into the ocean, and splashing around. 'One day I will. Just not today.' Tide had replied. He remembered the sunlight on his face and the salty smell of the ocean around him. As he came back into reality, he felt the gripping feeling of sorrow through his gut. He probably would never see Timothy's face again... or teach him how to fish like he had promised.

I want to get in on the action!
[b]Tribute [] Mentor [] Stylist [] ( [X] one! =D)
Seeing as how there are already Tributes for District 12, my character will just be town folk.
Username: ~●яσуαℓ-αвιℓιту●~
Name: Fleur-du-Lys (Strange name, yes, but it describes her personality.)
Nicknames?: Fleur, Lily.
Age (12-18, unless parent): 13.
Gender: Female
District (you are from or work for): District 12, of course!
Personality: Fleur is very timid and shy. Like most artists, she is slightly mad (but in a good way!) Most of the time, she is quiet and prefers to keep to herself. When she is provoked, however, she is dangerous, especially if she has a weapon in her reach. She finds it hard to make friends and has never really talked to a guy. She is very wise, caring, and compassionate. She would do anything for her friends, family, and animals. She is very sensitive, and fragile.
Description or Pic: Fleur is small for her age, and usually picked on for it. She has icy blue eyes framed by a pair of large, silver/black glasses. Her hair is just up to her shoulders, wavy, and the colour of light brown dirt streaked with gold (so sandy blonde with lighter blonde streaks,)and most of the time she wears a berret. Usually, she wears a pair of hippie-jeans and a pale blue longsleeve covered in a paint smock, unless special occasions. She never wears shoes.
History: Fleur knows little of her past, her true parents left her when she was young. Since then, she has grown up with her two adoptive parents: Aliana and Marco, and siblings: brothers Tonn (19), Wane (14), and Ferris (11), and sister Dori (6). She usually eats alone, since she spends most of her time painting and drawing or outside. She suffered amnesia at the age of 5 after being hit in the head with a rock. This made her forget alot of her past. She owns a dog, Mikka, and usually spends her time with her loyal and only friend.
Skills: She is a very experienced artists, but not only can she wield a paintbrush or pencil, she can also wielld bow and arrows. She is very good in english as well, reading books often. Fleur also knows a variety of herbs that she uses on her family in times of need.
Weapon choice (Tributes only): Fleur is not a Tribute, but thank you for asking.
Height: 4foot 9
Weight: 94pounds, a little underweight but only because she has a big family that can't support everyone.
Family: She only knows her adoptive family, but hopes to find her real parents one day.
Body Modifications: None. She won't allow it.
Relationships: She doesn't have many friends and doesn't have the courage to talk to boys.
Likes:
-Rain
-Animals
-Cloudy but warm days
-Reading
-Singing
-Watching the clouds on a lazy sunday
-Using a slingshot to hit her annoying brothers with oranges and/or already been chewed gum
Dislikes:
-Being picked on
-The Capitol
-Animal abuse
-Snow
-Oranges, hence the slingshot
Fears: Fleur is afraid of alot. The dark, being hurt/dying, people she doesn't know, and most of all: heights.
Other: This took me over an hour XD and she has a crush on Pali, if thats ok.

Noelle gave a very soft nod. Her eyes met his for a moment before she glanced down at the floor, her cheeks flushing. She watched him look away. Nobody was willing to share their feelings here. They were on camera. "You had a little brother, Tim you called him? I watched you two play in the water from the dock. Every afternoon you would come down. You will make it back Tide, I want you to know that you have a good chance." A few tears wanted to spill, but again, none would come. What am I doing? Surely I don't have feelings for this boy...do I? Noelle snapped away from her thoughts to let her eyes meet his again.

Tide gripped the seat of the chair he was sitting in and bowed his head. Emotions felt like they were going to choke him. To suffocate him and tear him apart. "Yes. Timothy and I went to the beach almost every day. I-I told him I would teach him how to fish. But that's quite an empty promise now." He whispered, swollowing slowly before composing himself and lifting his head to meet Noelle's gaze. A small smile was on his fairly handsome face, but it held nothing but bitterness and sorrow. "Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I'm pretty sure this is my death sentence." He dropped his head again, rubbing his cheek in a way that suggested that he was brushing off tears.

Derry

Derry glanced over at Nick, then back at Tide. He seems kinda shy. she thought quietly to herself, before staring back at the television at all the other districts. They seemed so grand, so big, compared to District 3. She sat down, looking carefully at everybody to try and work out what they would be good at and who it would be worth to make some sort of alliance with. Normally, it was the District One tributes who sorted this out, but it was better to be prepared, right?

"I hope that one day, the Hunger Games won't have to take place ever again." she said, then stared at the camera. "Because... they must be a pain to sort out." She was tempted to scream about what she thought, and how stupid they were, but of course, that could result in somebody in her family getting hurt or killed. She faked a smile then looked back at the TV.
