Sorrel nodded evely, her eyes still wide with shock. The trees had tumbled down so easily and so had much of the mountains. It no canons had fired some were sure to soon and she knew it. She closed her eyes, flinching as she heard Austin. "Yeah. I assume finding shelter would be a good idea. Then maybe after that we can see if we can find any food as well," she added.

District 10||The Games||Austin

Austin nodded. "Alright. I would say to go to winter, but it may be a little hard to navigate, with the snow and cliffs and all. But, we don't want somewhere overpopulated. I say summer might be good... if we see what's there first."

Tide smiled a little bit, his breathing come out in gasps. "You're welcome." He said softly, his voice rough as he ran after Noelle. "Don't mention it." His legs burned with every step, and his heart pounded hard in his chest. Suddenly, the shaking stopped, and the trio seemed to be in another world... or at least... another season? That must be it... Tide relaxed slightly, turning in a circle with Ray in his arms as he looked at the white world around them. Snow. It was winter? What?! It had just been spring! Baffled, he turned towards Noelle, his eyes wide.

Arena - Karter

I went from tree to tree until I found a small stream. I started drinking when I noticed a small little hole caving in slowly. I wondered what it was and wandered over. I picked up a stick and before I could go to the hole, a huge rat jumped out (Sort of like a skeever . . . from skyrim ) and launched at me. It knocked the stick from my hand and started clawing at my face. I kicked it off and tried to get up, but it tackeled me again. I grabbed it's nose and whacked it with a rock. It ran away, leaving me in a bloddy mess. My face had been cut pretty badly, and I needed to get some herbs . . . I wandered around until I heard something in the distance. I laid on my stomach and hoped it wouldn't come any closer. (Anyone want to come "interact" with Karter?)

Arena - Friden

I drank all of the melted snow and threw away the leaf that held it. I grabbed a stick and started walking off in hopes of finding somewhere to hide. I found a small hole with nothing inside, so I dug it out more, stick some sticks in the enterance, and covered it with leaves after I had gotten in. I was really tired, so I fell asleep.

Ray looked down at the snow and whispered,"winter? Already?" She had to close her eyes again. The pain was too much.

Spark jumped back, being taken by surprise. She stared at him for a moment, baffled. Then, after the silence, her frown turned into a small smile. Then bigger. Then into a grin. She gave a small laugh, placing a hand on her hip. "Guess you're right. I am sweetheart." She smiled, folding her arms now. "But, we better get back to work, coalboy." She winked, and began to walk toward the mouth of the cave. But,as she passed Kodi, she paused for a moment. In that moment, she gave him a quick peck on the cheek. She continued toward the mouth of the cave, then stopped dead in her tracks. She turned to Kodi, a mock skeptical look splayed on her face. "I winked again, didn't I?"
