Ray fell to the floor as the ground rumbled. She turned to Tide, "Quick! This way!" She took his hand and pulled him through the falling trees. She saw one about to fall and she managed to push Tide out the way. The tree landed on her leg and she yelped. She pulled it free but it was broken, bad.

Tide grunted, surprised at how quickly events turned bad. One second, he was in the woods with Ray and about to offer an alliance when some sort of earth quake had erupted around them and a tree had fell on the younger girl's leg. Strapping his spear to his belt and lunged fowards as the land shook violently around them. "Hold on." He whispered in her ear, and hoisted Ray into his arms. She was light, for how small she was. He held her in his arms as he ran, his supplies slamming his back with every step. For a few heartbeat, he stumbled, sinking to his knees with the weight dragging him down and how shaky his world was around him. Taking a deep breath, he summoned his strength and pressed on, his legs growing more tired with every step.

Noelle held her breath as the earth began to shake. She clung to a rock and screamed. When the blur of Tide carrying Ray came into view, a wave of relif washed over her. At least they were not dead. Quickly, she left her rock and charged after them. Although Noelle was in very bad shape, her skin was covered in mud, her ribcage visible. "Tide! Ray!" She cried, running even faster. Once she got close enough, Noelle shouldered past him. "I will take care of finding somewhere safe! You take care of Ray!'' She called, running further ahead to search for a place where the forest ended and an empty land started. A tree toppled down, she narrowly avoided it. "Oh!" She gasped as she dodged a few more trees that had already fallen.

Tide could hardly cry out an answer, he was breathing so hard. Trusting Noelle, he followed her, his legs shaking more violently under Ray and his backpack's weight. He wasn't very big and strong for how old he was. Gritting his teeth, he clutched Ray more firmly in his arms as he leaped over a fallen tree. As he landed, the impact jarred his legs, and a cry of pain sounded from his lips. Managing to ignore it, he continued onwards.

Ray looked up to Tide, "Thank you." She whispered. Her leg was badly broken and she was trying to keep her eyes open. It wasn't because she was tired, just about to become unconscious. She was aware that there was somebody else around her, she didn't know who though.

I turned aroudn and walked backwards, grinning at Spark. "Well, first is water. We got snow," I nod to the winter side, "So, maybe if I could find something to weave into a basket, we can scoop some up and bring it to the spring side for it to melt."

Spark nodded, setting her stick over her shoulder. "Okay, nice realization. We're off to a good start." She winked and turned back on the path, looking over all of it with a solemn face.

I kept an eye open for anything that could be bendable, liek young saplings. I came across a few and easily plucked them from the ground, the pile growing steadily in my arms.

(sorry i was gone for so long) Chloe walked through the thick forest. The only thing she saw were trees, trees, and more trees.

Spark saw Kodi grabbing saplings and such, and paused. She tilted her head a bit to the side. "What are you doing?"

"Young trees, saplings, are not fully mature. They don't have tough outer bark like the older ones, so they can bend. Perfect for trapping and weaving things," I explain, grinning.
