Sky peeked over at Ali and cracked a goofy grin.

Ali opened an eye in time to see his grin and giggled softly at the look on his face.

Cheyenne still hurt, hearing the scientists moaning though more were coming. She wanted to shift but didn't want them to perform more tests on her. She was confused and then devised to shift. Her body morphed into a tiger and growled.

Eli frowned and shook his head. "Screw this." he muttered and forced a compact blast of wind through the lock of his cage. He smiled as it burst open with a clang. He glanced at Cheyenne, she had shifted. He shut his mouth tight to keep a few words in. They needed out but there was no way he could carry her out like that.

Cheyenne heard a loud clang and turned, growling. She then heard more of the scientists drawing near and she swiped her paw at them. Her teeth were bared.

"Get away from her." Eli growled pushing wind at the scientist who were getting near Cheyenne. He sent another concentrated blast of air theough the lock to Cheyenne's door forcing it open. "Come on love I need you to shift so we can leave." He called to her.

Cheyenne felt wind blow through her fur, her body shaking. She heard another loud clang and jumped, tensed to spring. Then she heard Eli and reluctantly nodded, her body morphing human again and waiting for Eli to make his way over.

Eli glared at the scientist before stepping into the cage and walking over to Cheyenne. He knelt beside her. "You alright darling? Come on we're getting out of here."

Cheyenne heard footsteps and began to move back until she heard Eli's voice. She threw her arms around him and felt tears form in the corners of her eyes. She couldn't speak without it sounding like gibberish so se just stayed quiet and sobbed into Eli's shoulder.

Eli hugged her back keeping one arm around Cheyenne to lift her up slamming a scientist back away from the door. "Shh darling I've got you." He murmured kissing her head. "Come on darling." He told her stepping out of the cage. How did they get out of here?
