Escott shrugged. "Just sayin'." He chuckled quietly. "And you don't have to tell me. I'd see you at the dance anyway." He smirked slyly and removed his glasses, rubbing them with his shirt.

I smiled and watched him for a moment before glancing up at the clock.

(What time is it and how many days away from the ball?)

(Pretty funny how people keep asking that. X3 The ball is two days away, the second day of break. And it would be approximately 9 am, we'll say.)

Escott glanced at her and replaced his glasses before looking to the clock. "We don't have too long. About ten minutes." He murmured, turning to look at his desk.

I nodded. "Okay, thanks," I whispered, straightening my back as the teacher walked towards us.

Shadow laid his head on his desk and drifted off.

I yawned as I woke up. I hadn't slept much last night. I shrugged inwardly and stood. I got dressed and looked out the window. Technically I wasn't supposed to be outside, but I was sure I would be dismissed because of my 'state of health'. I walked out into the chilly outside and shivered slightly.

Escott smiled slightly and leaned back, looking up at the ceiling. He frowned and glanced at the clock again. Five minutes.

The teacher looked at us before returning to the board up front. I silently and impatiently tapped my desk with my pencil.

Thankfully, almost all the Suns were in classes already. The garden was pretty much deserted. I smiled and climbed a tree, sitting on a moderately high branch.
