As Jerome bit me, a gasp of surprise escaped my lips. I tried to struggle, but found myself getting weaker and weaker by the second. In fact, I was beginning to feel lightheaded.

"Okay!" Kumi nodded quickly and darted into her bedroom, shuffling through her tiny closet.

Shadow started getting worried. He got up and went outside, "SUNNY?" He called as he searched the school grounds. He stopped seeing Jerome biting Sunny, without thinking he ran towards Jerome and tackled him. Jerome was forced to retract his fangs, Shadow pinned Jerome.

:Sunny:

I fell to the ground, unconscious. The wound on my neck slowly bled into the grass beneath me. My breathing was shallow.

Jerome kicked Shadow off. Jerome got up and took off.

Shadow got up and ran to Sunny. He tore off a piece of his jacket, he pressed it to Sunny's wound. "Don't die" He said, he picked Sunny and ran off towards school.

:Sunny:

I didn't stir. My arm dangled down limply as Shadow carried.

Shadow ran inside. He ran straight to the nurses office, he opened the door and walked inside.

:Sunny:

I was still limp in his arms. I hadn't moved yet.
