The moment he uttered those words, my eyes lit up as if I were a three year old who'd just been told that she could keep a stay dog that she'd brought home. Giggling like an idiot, I pounced on him and kissed his cheek unable to contain my excitement. "You are the most amazing person ever and I love you!" At that moment I probably couldn't have been happier...unless I had candy or bacon because those were two things that seemed to make everything better. It never occurred to me that with my tight hold I was probably strangling him, but I was much too excited to care.

he smiled slightly at her hug, but it disappeared as quickly as it had came. "just, please stay safe, alright? I don't want puppy to distract you from keeping yourself unharmed. along with the flock." Ren lightly hugged her shoulders, his green eyes expressionless.

Basically, the flock went to go retrieve Riley and Knight but ended up having a huge fight with some whitecoats and Erasers. Ren got shot with a tranquilizer dart so he was pretty loopy for a while but he's totally fine now. Hiro got his arm broken or dislocated I'm not entirely sure, Athena has a pretty bad injury on her leg, Ren came out generally unscathed, and Jinx got slashed across her stomach. Once the Erasers were dealt with (They were in a forest at the time of the fight by the way) Storm and Jinx kind of got to have some time together which resulted in a rather angry/jealous Ren so now Jinx and Ren are fighting. Storm is a good guy now but Ren isn't really convinced. The rest of the flock is just wary of him but Jinx is determined to make everyone see things her way. She really doesn't wasn't to leave storm but Ren is determined to separate them. Now, Ren is going back to the flock's home to gather supplies while Jinx is going to be getting Athena and Hiro back to the cave. She wants to take Storm along just in case something bad happens and for obvious reasons (They've got a puppy love thing going on) but it has yet to be decided. I think I've covered everything but if not, I'm sure someone will be willing to fill in the blanks.

Still giggling idiotically I kissed Ren's cheek again before finally releasing him from my hold. "You know I'm not that easily distracted when it comes to keeping the flock safe so you better not start questioning me now. Next time, I will kick your feathery butt." Grinning I ruffled his hair playfully before finally stepping away from him.

Riley; battered, bruised, starving, and stumbling through the forest with her wings tucked in tight against her body. Her clothes were torn and in shreds; she was so thin you could see all her ribs. She had a hacking cough and burning fever. But that would get better when she got back to to flock... If she got back to the Flock. She had a bad limp from when the white-coats had her do 'exercise.' With every step she took, she let out a soft whimper of pain.

ren nodded softly, his gaze locked on the ground. "get the flock back to the cave. I'll be there soon." as he walked by her he lightly kissed her forehead, then disappeared into the trees.

Hiro sat on the ground beneath a small tree, listening to and dreading the conversation between Ren and Jinx. Would they seriously let that Eraser stay with the flock? If they did, he'd never let him out of his sight, no matter how much Jinx or anyone else trusted him. And if he was supposed to get back to the cave, someone would probably have to carry him, as much as he hated being touched. He hadn't tried yet, but he didn't know if moving his wings would be a good idea.

Riley continuously stumbled through the forest, tripping over hidden roots, stepping in holes, branches whipping her face, and thistles and things stabbing into her skin. As well as the horrible images that were plastered in her mind. She blamed the School for them. They were terrible images of her family, of the Flock laying dead on the ground, blood everywhere. And Erasers standing over them, then turning to her in the end and saying 'This is what you wanted.' It frightened her. She knew it wasn't true. But it horrified her nonetheless. These are the things that filled her mind as she stumbled along through the woods; just hoping and praying a Flock member might just see her from this far away.

Sighing I watched Ren leave and disappear from my sight dreading the many things that could occur next. Shaking off my less than positive thoughts I walked over to Hiro and gently scooped him up being careful of his arm. "I really am sorry for letting you get hurt and I don't plan on letting it happen again." Positive that my words would be ignored I settled back into silence and waited for everyone to get ready to leave. It seemed that our flock would not be whole for longer than I'd thought.
