Dear Lord, it was hot in here. Desperate to escape the furnace, Nathan exited his apartment room and descended down the stairs, long since abandoned any hope for the dilapidated elevator that the building provided. He made a nice racket down the stairs before he arrived at the ground level, glancing around the city nervously. As a half-demon, he was often ostracized as a freak.
Understandable.
Nathan stepped off onto the sidewalk and meandered aimlessly throughout the city, searching for something to do. He just didn't want to be home._____________________________________________________________________________

- Lilith grinned and said, "I didn't realize they had advanced so far as to learn human speech." Lilith's grin faded, however, as Kiro shut his eyes and went stiff. Was he going to try and influence the Angel? But it was an angel. Would that work? Frowning, Lilith kept one eye on her fellow Demon as she turned to the Angel, saying, "So, sir. What's your name? Or rather, your vessel's name."
Hopefully some chatter would distract the Angel for Kiro to influence him. If all else failed, Lilith supposed she might be able to talk him out of attacking them...but of course, Kiro was around. He would just have to plug his ears, then.
