"Ohhh.... Yeah, sorry, I am dreaming about being a 3rd year again," Yami said with a small laugh. "I'm a second year," she mumbled to herself. The nice breeze was good on this kind of day. It let conversation flow to Yami easier. Some girls in her class were under a tree. She didn't mess with them, as they where Yankees*. They were talking to those birds again. They weren't allowd to have them, but nobody snitched for everyone but a select few feared them greatly. She turned back to Samantha, then walked over to the tree that she had been reading under. She had left Samantha behind purposely so she would be confused to a point. Yami set her book down, then started to climb the ancient tree. She climbed with ease, but as she started to get to the higher parts the danger levels increased, so Yami did what any Rose would do. She made a net. Yami let the shadows from every come up the tree and spread between the branches. This wouldn't help Samantha if she decided to climb the tall tree, but then again, Samantha had air on her side so she could probably just float to the ground. Yami giggled at the thought of seeing an air Rose floating in mid air. She found a sturdy branch and sat on it, waiting for Samantha if she decided to come up. "Damn!" Yami cursed under her breath. She looked down to the ground and saw her book lying there, opening and closing with the wind. She sent the shadow net to the ground where her black fire engulfed the book and brought it back to her by moving swiftly up the tree without killing it. The "Enviremental" roses took care of them and had somehow managed to protect them from any element of roses, as the school Commons was the place the roses trained. Yami flipped open to the page that she had dog-eared and started reading, waiting for Samantha to figure out her way up.

Samantha snickered, she had climbed enough trees back home that she easily knew how to get up. Quickly she ran to the tree and jumped onto the branch. Instead of using her hands she used air to lift her up at a slight angle. Every so often she would flip around and up if she had miscalculated and was beginning to decend. In less then five minutes Samantha was up on the branch and sat down swinging her legs to and fro, loving being up high and in the wind.

Yami couldn't help but laughing. Not at her book, but at Samantha. Of course she would easily get up here. Air Roses do love the air. Yami stayed close to the trunk of the tree, when Samantha was out hanging her feet off of a thin branch. Before Yami even knew what she was about to say, she said it, "Can you fly? Like, is there a way to catch a current and fly?" Yami shut up immediatly and looked down at the ground and the two girls with the birds a tree over. She sighed and said, "Sorry. I do that sometimes. Even when you're a rose, you still don't know everything about roses. Y'know?"

"Yea and its hard because a human isnt to light, it takes alot of air power and A-LOT of control. The last time I uhh "flew" I broke my leg in the landing." Samantha smiled. It was quite funny but thank goodness no one had a video of it. She looked more funny then hurt. Samantha laughed at the rememberance of herself flailing through the air and landing in a tree. "It wasnt too bad a minor fracture in my ankle. I had landed in a tree but the branch broke and I fell strait to the ground hitting more branches along the way. After that I taught myself how to slow my falls with air." Samantha added.

"Valentine" is an exceptionally angry person the large majority of the time and can be extremely sensitive if he thinks he is being insulted with an almost clinical obsession with harming the people who supposedly insulted him. He is very nasty when it comes to girls, both in sexist beliefs and a mild perverted attitude. He enjoys being the center of attention and coming up with weird ideas or behaviors, such as how the word "Rose" gave him the idea to introduce himself as Valentine.

Looks:

Short, scruffy black hair much like in his Rose form and bright blue eyes with very tanned skin as opposed to the pale pallor in the image. He is quite short, barely as tall as most girls he knows, and more muscular than in his Rose form. His neck has a small scar on it in the shape of a disfigured oval just above the collar, and his lips are unusually red and constantly bleeding as a result of his bad habit of biting them. Valentine has a tattoo on his chest, right where his heart would be, of a typical candy heart, but black rather than pink and made to look as if it is bleeding.

"Now what might you two ladies be doing?" Valentine's voice echoed throughout the commoncs as he called out a "greeting" to Yami and Samantha, still many feet away from the girls. As he approached a typical cocky smirk was clear on his face, and the expression grew into a wide grin as he approached the tree, head tilted back and hands in his pockets. "Can't say I mind the view from down her. Hey Sam, you do know you're wearing a skirt, right?" He leered despite not being able to see much more than the girl's head and arms from where he stood. Branches, much to his annoyance, disrupted the view immensely and, typical of the boy, put him in a rather bothered mood. If he couldn't get a look at the girl he may as well tease her, no?

((I have no idea if the students would know each other or not... but I'm hoping he would at least know her name? And I think the girl's uniforms have skirts... if not I'm being an idiot.))

Yami couldn't help but burst out laughing at the 3rd year. "You do know that she is two years younger than you, right? You don't want to be considered a pervert, do you?" Yami said jokingly, hoping to piss off the guy below. If the comment had been made to her, she would have been as red as a box of pocky, which was red. She had her lovely smirk on her face, then standing up in the tree, still close the trunk as before, but farther than where she was sitting. Yami looked at the guy which she clasified as "emo". "So, you gonna come up or not?" she said sarcastically, hopefully inticing Valentine.
