"From what I take, we are in vaguely similar situations..." She murmured. "It would be nice to meet him. I have found my research could benefit from his own." Emerald sighed. "So, Is there any reason you became a state alchemist?"

Gen nods agreeing with her about the alchemist and when she asked for the reason why she became a state alchemist, her red eyes soften with a bit sadness. "Reason why I became a state alchemist is to help the weak, I was in that position when I was younger and I don't want another person have to go through it" she says, then she realized it was a bit of a childish reason. "I'm sure I sounded a bit naive but I was young when I decided to become one" she says again

"That is a perfectly good reason. I cant say mine was any similar, though my father was in the military, and I looked up to him."

"Complete opposite of my father, the guy could give any less care about me and younger brother... Who was killed by the bastard" Gen says. "I guess another reason was to get away from my worthless father" she says again.
