Orenda shrugged. "Lead the way." She said, glancing at him. "I'm Orenda. You are?" She slung her bag across her back and sighed. "It's cool here. I wonder who my father is. At least he is not actually dead." Her hand reached to a silver necklace. It was a chain with a feather pendant. She smiled when a feather was dropped into her hands. She braided the white feather from Sky into her hair. "Good girl." She praised, stroking Sky.

Kyle silently stretched on the edge of his bed. He scribbled on his note pad before standing up and wandering outside. He leaned against the cabin side and sighed, eyes traveling the activity. "Hm." He said, shrugging. Finally he rose and let a a whistle. His dog, Tora, came bounding up to him with a stick in her mouth. He grabbed it from her and threw the stick far and Tora fetched it, returning it to her. He continued to do this.

I tiltedmy head back and forth, studying him as if searching for a resemblance to a goddess. Not that I'd met many goddesses, but some of their kids must have similar features, right? Not that I looked much like my siblings. "Well, I guess that rules out you being my sibling, doesn't it? So you won't be joining me in my cabin. Pity. I like you more than my other sibling. They're not bad, but...eh. We don't have much in common."

Fukyo smiled and took it somewhat as a compliment. "I'm glad I haven't met very many people before." He said with a bit of excitement. He thought back to when he had tried to find out who his mom could be. "I have tried to find out who my Goldy parent is, but failed quite badly." He said with a sigh. He couldn't help but hope he'd be claimed soon.

"well, i guess not" they muttered in reply, and soon followed after him. however, as soon as their feet came into contact with the water they flinched and backed away.
"why is the water at american beaches always so cold?" despite their protests they quickly approached again, this time managing to let the water go up to her ankles.

I nodded. "I'm sure you'll get claimed sooner or later. The gods can just be really forgetful, you know? And I don't, um...I don't think they pay all that much attention to us, to be honest. But it almost always happens." I sighed and shook my head. "Somehow, I don't think this is as reassuring as I mean it to be."
