Ouran After High School Host Club(Read the Rules -.-)

[guys this rp is speeding by fast - and some users are unable to go online everyday or as often as some of you. i only ask if you could try to follow these few small rules for a bit

1. please post more then 1 line when responding to someone - if you can't think of anything, then just describe in greater detail what you had in mind, it makes for great practice and can help if you have writers block in the future. for example:

Lilly sat in the cafe, and soon looked over and saw her friend walking up to the door, heading inside.

can be changed to

As Lilly sat in the cafe, waiting, she had decided to try and draw her attention outside, looking to the window. Just as she looked out, a few moments later she could see her friend James walking to the small shop. She lit up and smiled happily, finally seeing her friend come to join her as he walked through the door.

2. pleeeeeeease try to wait a little bit before posting again - i know people get carried away, but do try to be mindful of it, as this is not a 1 x 1 rp where you focus only on that person to whom you are interacting [even i do this sometimes and i am practicing to be better with it.] - try to wait a few minutes before you post again - this gives time for those who need people to roleplay with to try and find people to join in on, and to help make them feel less ignored. not only this but it helps to lessen the page numbers and give easier recaps for people who haven't been on in a while.

3. if you have a new character you want to add, it would be best to PM them to the owner [hermytail] for them to keep characters in check, in line, and on the front page so that everyone knows which character is who's and what characters there are - this also means that i ask you to wait patiently for those characters to be accepted first before anything happens with them.

4. try to keep in mind that people have lives outside of the computer and can be quite busy, so it would be nice if people could either - give a recap, help them understand whats going on, or try to slow down a bit and inform hermytail of what is going on - as she is very busy and often gets lost here, just as others do as well

This was not rude, nor was anything Black Cat said afterwords. She (or he- I'm sorry I don't know lol!) has been on this role play for awhile and was simply doing what I asked her to do- mod. Her post was long but because of that therow (I can NOT spell), and I'm sorry if anyone found her rude but she makes a fair point. I've found it difficult to keep up on this roleplay because this is the first summer where I've actually had things to do. As you might have noticed the front page is very out dated, and I'm never on. Because of this I am thinking about doing a "version 2" of this roleplay.

As for implying you guys didn't have a life, I believe you were being much too defensive. Lately I've been spending more time with friends, and I have a job, but I' moving out of state on my own in a year and, because of my situation, cannot be online as much. This doesn't mean I have a life and you don't, it just means my time is being forced to be directed elsewhere.

For one liners, I do that constantly despite the fact that I a actually a fairly decent writer, if I do say so myself. However it's something I'd like to work on and if any of you would like to, it would be preferred. Remember, though- it is not a rule. This is not a semi-it nor literate roleplay. Just because it's suggested does not mean it's a must.

Please, no one say I am showing favoritism. I am simply stating my own opinion which happens to coincide with Black Cat's. Don't fight, and next time keep a cool head. If you are having issues out of roleplay please leave it out. Walk aay from the computer for awhile if you must. I know it's hard, since I use roleplaying to kind of vent out myself, but it's still the right thing to do.

{Personality: Ashley is a very shy and self-kept individual. She often times will only show her true colours when she is happy, protective, or upset. She is sometimes mistaken for a boy, which makes her question who she is sometimes.
History: she had a pretty normal life, only she lives in a small house by herself and barely has enough to pay bills and food for herself. She used to have a brother named Gilbert, but sadly he had passed away due to a bad lung cancer that had spread too much and was discovered much too late for much treatment. She works around the neighborhood she lives in in order to get extra money, even if it isn't much. Sometimes she'll dress up like her brother, as she is his twin, and would do some chores around the house in memory of him.
Other: Freelancer [can be hired on demand for short term work or long term work], likes sweets such as cakes and tea, dislikes spiders, and has a fear of the dark and mirrors, especially the two combined. She does not work at the host club, but has taken interest in getting a job there if possible - for now she is considered a guest [edit - she now has a job at the host club as a maid/butler.] She is straight and sometimes gets in trouble when she dresses up like her brother and is caught like that - since she can also mimic his voice and sound like a boy.}

{Christain is one of those ... strong, silent, and bad boy types all wrapped up in one.He won't say much, and he hides a lot of secrets, but threaten those he is close to and he won't be so reserved anymore. He is a man who likes his space, feeling uncomfortable around large groups of people. His back story, well, he lived a pretty normal life - besides his father divorcing his mom and having to stay with him. His father wasn't like all those rich people, but the man is well off enough to pay off 'owning' his son pretty much as a piece of property instead of family.He was raised to be a martial artist champion ... and although he quite enjoyed the classes giving him something to do with his otherwise boring life, he didn't like being used only as an attraction for his father to get even more money and hold black auctions [hidden / illegal bidding] on his performances in contests and tournaments. His real passion is to be a painter, to express his feelings through his art - which he often does secretly at home. He currently has over 56 paintings finished and 13 in the works. His occupation currently is a martial artist, under the control of his father. One thing he hides from his father is that he's homosexual, and often dislikes even being around women due to his mother - as she was a bad influence growing up. He loves music and art, the classics and architect as well as gardening. He doesn't work at the host club, but he has heard a lot of good things about it, and has registered as a guest there.}

{Age: Unknown - looks 19}

{Gender: Male}

{Personality: Konoha is a gentle and quiet boy with separation anxiety, and has been isolated his entire life. Therefore he is known to possess a strong curiosity for the unknown. He currently is unknowing about the outside world, he's rather air-headed, thus easily forgets some things, for example, quickly forgetting what the name to his friend raccoon is, despite how he's kept the raccoon by him every day. He also has a strong appetite, yet due to having lived in a cottage all his life, he doesn't have much to eat and is often whiny or asks for food. He doesn't care much about what people think of him; he did not even seem to care when he was in nothing but his underwear in front of Kyoya once, which at the time was normal due to his occasional random moments. Konoha is often drawing and not paying attention to his studies. He has a serious illness / disease that gives him a weak physical body and as a result he is often sickly and has attacks every now and again when under too much stress. no one knows of this, not even Kyoya.

History: Konoha was once a 3 foot little robot [baby android] and was created by Kyoya as a project for one of his technology & computer's classes. Sadly, even though his creation was given a high A+, his father disproved of the little creation and showed that there were much more advanced robots created all over japan. He remembers small memories of Kyoya's sadness and frustration, so he did what he could, and let Kyoya change him - and change him - and change him more - until he was the current robotic model he is now, standing at 6 feet tall. He served as Kyoya's personal robot at the boy's cottage and water amusement park - which at the time had been incomplete. but as time went on, and kyoya grew more busy - Konoha had been left at the cottage, over time soon having gone offline, still plugged into the old computer Kyoya had programmed commands and options into. Subconsciously though, he began to download files, information, and even video's on new information about humans and emotions, growing smarter and more 'human' by the day. One day, a raccoon slipped into the cottage and disconnected him from the computer, causing him to force reboot and wake up during a file download. The incomplete file download caused a virus and missing data, which had caused him the 'illness / disease' that causes him to be weak and occasionally have attacks - which makes him occasionally have to reboot or shut down for few minutes at a time. He stays at the cottage, wondering where Kyoya has gone, keeping the raccoon that woke him up as a pet.

His eyes were darker than they normally were, and he had raccoon rings around his eyes, signaling that he didn't get much sleep. He shakily rose his coffee cup up to his lips, nodding at his guest. "Yes, yes. I'm fine, my dear. I just didn't get much sleep last night. Family matters and all," he began, setting the cup back on the coaster with a yawn.

((Seems as if I have missed a lot, but allow me to contribute my two cents: I have lately been busy as well, and it's not entirely pleasant when I return to many new pages. Being the shy and wimpy little thing I am, I don't ask for recaps since I figure it would be a bother (either that or I get ignored entirely, eheh...). As for one liners, I am working my best to improve them, as I'm guilty of making some as well.))

((Sorry for my lack of posting here. There are multiple reasons ranging from familial matters, trying to make others pleased, medical things, and the simple fact that I was feeling left out. I was actually considering quitting, but then I remembered and I realised that I do not wish to simply abandon the wonderful people I've met here ;3))

((I would be very interested in the idea of a V2, as I have quite a few new characters. Sadly I may not keep old ones, but I simply cannot handle more than eight at a time without becoming edgy and frustrated...))
