Garrett's eyes flashed to pich black in an instant as he looked at Taru. Was she... dead. His hands clenched into tight fists. "You sick little demon." He growled under his breath, and little shocks of electricity sparked off of his hands. "You've been to hell and back many times. But this time, you won't be coming back." He snarled as lightning struck him from the sky with just a flick of he hand.

"Hah!!" Kuro laughed loudly and leaped back effortlessly. "You're a little angel, aren't you, Garrett? Trying to save your lover... After she's already almost dead! Fighting me is pointless; She'll be dead by the time we're done... Which do you choose? Do you want to kill her by wasting time... or hurt me?" Kuro chuckled evilly.

Garrett tried to strike him again, this time striking from three places at once. He stopped for a moment... He had a point. He snarled at him loudly and kneeled beside Taru's blood-soaked body. He placed a hand on her cheek for a moment, then flipped her over. He ripped off his jacket and filled it with snow. He pressed it to her wounds carefully and looked up at Kuro.

Kuro just laughed at him loudly. "That's not going to help, boy! I'm not easy to defeat... I have eighteen lives, stupid! I'm over five hundred years old, and I've died seventy two times before.... nothing you do will ever kill me. You'll have died and I'll be reborn again." He chuckled. "We can deal with this tomorrow. I've gotten my revenge... now go home." Kuro cackled, and disappeared.

Garrett shook his head and focused on Taru. "Taru... Taru, can you hear me?" He asked worridley, pressing the ice onto the wound hard. The jacket was ruined... covered in blood.

Tarun whimpered in pain, and tears ran down her cheeks. "Garrett....?" She whispered. "It hurts so badly.."

"I know it does, But it's gonna be okay. Just bear with me." He whispered to her softly. "Come on..." He said, lifting her up and keeping the ice pressed to her back. "It's alright..." He reasured her, carrying her back to his house.

"Make it stop... please..." Taru whimpered, moving her bloody hand to his cheek.

((Had to clean my room-we have a guest tonight so I may not be on much.))

"Can we go to the infirmary?(sp perfect)" She asked him, "I'd like to help out a little. Seems like they could use some."

"Sure." Dru led the way, taking the path Takeshi had took.

Takeshi was bandaging up a wound that Helios had acquired, it was losing blood at an astounding rate. He needed Dru, and Victoria to give him a hand...
Right on cue, they walked in. Takeshi breathed a sigh of relief. "Dru!" He barked. "Get over here, Helios is badly hurt!"

Dru sprinted over and froze the wound over, preventing any more blood from escaping.

Takeshi motioned to Victoria so much more gently than he had the Sorcerer Supreme. "I need you to hold the bandage in place for me while I tie it."
