Jordan looked around at Kira and Kiry, who were sitting at the table eating. I wonder what there is to eat? he thought then walked over to the kitchen cupboard.

Twitch jumped off the top of the tree that she had been perched on, her ruby red full skirt flying up until she gained control of her wings and glided down to the back door.
"Hey." she muttered, akwardly folding up her wings as she walked into the kitchen, closing the door behid her to kill the arcticly cold wind billowing through the kitchen. She grabbed herself a can of baked beans and cracked it open, grabbing a spoon and shoveling the cold beans into her mouth.

Dakota wearily walked into the kitchen. She had just woken up and was still trying to wake up. She rubbed her eyes and looked around. "Hey, everyone." she said simply, just to be nice.

"Hello!" said Twitch, dropping the empty bean can into the sink. She would let one of the other older and taller kids wash it for her, she couldn't reach the back of the sink to turn the water on without standing on a chair and she was too tired to drag one over to the sink. She wrapped her twin wing pairs around her body, stretching them out as best she could without knocking things over. She then walked to the next room and curled up on an armchair, falling asleep with her wings sprawled out.

Zoe yawned and got up. She stretched her wings and made herself walk to the kitchen. "What is there to eat?" she said to no one in particular, although she already knew.
