"My magic... My magic was bestowed to me by my goddess; Ishmael. I pull my strength and magic from her." Ain explains as he holds his hand out to create a simple ball of glass. "However... It seems that I'm not able to use it as much due to my connection to her being severed..." he adds a small frown on his face could be seen. "It is known as Creation Magic, where I am from"

"Ahh.." J.D. watched him create the glass with a thoughtful look. "Amazing," he murmured, a slight nervous edge in his tone. He'd never seen anything like this, ever. It was slightly startling, if he was being honest. "Well," he started back up, "Since we're both lost together, want to be in this together? Find something to build a fire, maybe?" He hoped this would work. Someone like this on his side could be a powerful ally to him.

Ain gives a small nod. "I doubt I'm going to find anyone else at the moment. It's also better to be in a group in case of an attack... Who knows what is lurking around in these ruins..." he says. "Food shouldn't be a problem for me since I do not need to eat to survive" he adds as the glass ball disappears and Ain dusts his hands off of the shards left over.

J.D. chuckled a little. "You've got everything, don't you? It would be way more convenient if there were like, a 7-eleven in these ruins. I wouldn't have to be a hunter-gatherer." He looked around and grabbed a few sticks from the ground. "Think we can start a fire with these?"

Ain gives a small nod. "Yes I believe we can start a fire with those" he says as he looks around to see if there was other things they could use, such as branches. "Yes... It'd be ideal to have a 7 man or rather person group... But we must deal with what we have at the moment..." he adds. "It wouldn't matter on what role you got, they'd switch everyday to give people equal opportunities" he notices a small branch and goes over to it and breaks bits of it off so it'd be easier to burn.

"True...but I almost like the feel of a small group. It's sort of...homely." He heard a scurrying in the bushes and whipped around to see a rabbit. It didn't seem to notice them. That'll do for now, he thought, and pulled his revolver, aiming and shooting. He ran off, and few moments later he came back, rabbit in hand, and dropped it on the ground. "Easy as hell," he murmured, a cocky tone in his voice, and began to pick up more sticks for the fire.

Ain turns to see what happened before noticing the rabbit. He gives a small nod of satisfaction as he brings over the pieces of branches that he had gotten. "A small group is more homely, I agree. It's more like family I guess..." he says. Humans are such interesting creatures... Too bad they have a prideful and destructive nature...

"Mm." J.D. grew oddly quiet, kneeling down and striking two sticks from the top of the pile together, watching a few sparks fly, but nothing major. "I suppose, depending on what your definition of family is." He muttered, not taking his eyes off the sticks he was rubbing together.

Ain gives a small nod. "Yes... That is true... It depends on the definition of family..." he says as he notices this. "My definition of it happens to be those in a group who will look out and protect you, no matter the situation nor consequences" he was really speaking from experience for that one. It then made him realize just how much he treasured the El Gang's company even if he was very cold and somewhat rude.
