(Sorry it took so long; busy week. Anyway, time to start.)Dylan Maxwell. The morning hadn't gotten off to a good start for one particular camper.
Dylan had been woken at some absurd hour by a loud noise, and a cloud of smoke. Or at least she thought it was smoke, until the smell hit her. The children of Athena had been forced to abandon their cabin in the dark, hands over their mouths and noses as they tried to block out the smell. They had gotten out just in time to see a couple of boys slipping back into the Hermes cabin, but it didn't seem as if anyone else had been roused by the incident. To begin with, Dylan was not a morning person; but if someone were to wake her up with some sort of stink bomb before dawn... It wasn't a smart move.
The girl was livid, standing outside the cabin in her orange camp t-shirt, a pair of black leggings, barefoot with her her arms folded across her chest. She had a strained relationship with anyone from the Hermes cabin, unable to see how they found any joy in their pranks. If they were elaborate, harmless things; then she could admire them. But this specific prank was petty, irritating and not original in the slightest.
Thankfully, she had managed to stop herself from strangling any of them over breakfast. The inhabitants of the Athena cabin had been able to return to their cabin after a while, although the stench still hung around. Dylan had gotten dressed, pulling on a black t-shirt, dark jeans and a pair of red Converse sneakers; as well as securing her quiver of arrows to her back, and grabbed her bow on her way out the door. She didn't always carry them with her, but she was intent on putting a little training in after breakfast in the pavillion.
She sat at a table with the rest of her cabin-mates. Technically they were all half-brothers and half-sisters, but thinking about all the family relations, especially on the divine side, always gave her a headache.
After breakfast, Dylan headed for the arena where demigods trained in combat. She spent most of her time training, whether it was in the arena, in the forest, on the lava wall, or even just reading in her cabin. It was all she could do since there were no quests or errands to go out into the world for. So, for now, she was stuck at Camp Half Blood.

Most of the time, things went well for Carter. His bed was retracted into the floor into his private room, and he had all of the coolest 'gadgets' that he could ask for. But today was not his favorite day. He ran his hand through his messy hair as he sat up, shaking one of his automatons out of it as he did so. He picked up the small delicate looking bronze spider-shaped hunk of metal and tossed it onto one of the shelves beside his bed. "Don't get any ideas." He muttered at it. "Or I'll take your chip out." The spider scurried to it's place on the shelf, then powered itself down. Unlike the rest of the cabin, CJ's room was quite neat. This was mostly due to the fact that he'd made a 'home base' for each of his things, where they went to power down, but he found it faster to build things when everything was where he'd left it in the first place. He quickly changed into his clothes, and slung his toolbelt around his waist. He took it everywhere, and it also served as a place to put his shield - which was in a pocket in the back and folded into itself until it was the size of a deck of cards, and his axe. This had special fitted coverings on it and hung off his belt through a ring. After hitting a few buttons on a pad beside his bunk, he sat down on it as it rose from the floor and into the cabin. He gave a half-hearted wave to the mess in the back of the room. A metal hand stuck out of the pile and waved back. CJ grinned, then turned to leave the cabin. The round vault-ish door made a hissing sound as he opened it, and CJ stepped out into the sunlight. He squinted until his eyes adjusted to the brightness, then he began to walk away from cabin nine. He sat at breakfast alone, as his cabin mates were all probably still sleeping or working on a project. It wasn't normal for them to get up early for anything other than an unfinished project, and most of the time they didn't go to sleep until late, when it was done. As soon as he'd finished breakfast, he trotted down to the arena and began to train. Most of the time, he had to do this by himself, because the axe wasn't exactly a favored weapon among demigods. When he used it against those who wielded swords, he could keep up. Normally an axe was heavier and slower than a sword, but Carter had made it himself, and was quite adept at using it's improved speed to his advantage, especially against opponents who weren't expecting it. He'd chosen an axe because the orphanage he'd lived at as a child had been in the woods, and they'd used axes to chop trees. He'd had an axe on the journey here, and he wasn't giving his favored weapon up either. t a g g e d; ---яσαη

Roan woke in a good mood. It was sunny. Her moods changed with the weather, and sometimes could influence the weather of a place she was in, at least, the wind strength. The area around her cabin was rather flat, with very few tall things anywhere close to it, for they would all get buffeted by wind in the event that she got mad. She stretched and pulled her Camp t-shirt over her undershirt as she yawned. Her cabin had open walls to the air and was actually a giant treehouse, with six levels that were mere platforms with a steeped roof on top. There were walls for when storms came, which were rather like giant pull-down window shades made of special material. These were courtesy of the Hephaestus cabin, and Roan was glad for them, especially on cold and stormy nights. She glanced at the hanging rope ladder with indecision, then simply jumped off of 'her' platform. She had been sleeping on the top level, and all of her things were on the lowest one. She slowed her descent easily and landed softly on the lowest level of the tree house. This would be the gathering area for her and her half-brothers or sisters... if she'd had any. She quickly gathered up her things, grasping her bow and quiver from the trunk in which they were placed every night, and took a running leap out of the cabin. She drifted to the ground, about twenty feet from her cabin, and jogged up towards where the food was. She whirled into the breakfast area, ate, then whirled out. Her grey eyes were lighter today, and she headed down to the arena. She spotted CJ and waved, before heading over to the archery field. She drew an arrow out of her quiver and shot it wide, lazily pushing it towards the center of the target. She wasn't that great at archery, but having the ability to use wind to push the arrow helped her accuracy a lot. She sometimes felt like she was cheating, since she'd get the same result by just throwing the arrow and pushing it as well as guiding it with the wind. But Apollo's children were simply good archers, weren't they? Natural talent. She used her own natural talent too, right? Her next arrow turned a loop in the air before hitting the target a hairs breadth away from her first. Roan sighed, bored.t a g g e d; ---[

Daughter of Thanatos | Nineteen | Alone
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Someone who would not die for something
that they believe in, is not fit to live.
Yawning silently, Leah stretched her arms above her head. In the cabin of Thanatos, she was completely alone. Perhaps this was because her father had a bad rep, which is why she was utterly alone. It bothered her none, Leah did not let too many get close anyways, she knew she was dangerous. Enjoying the freedom of her cabin, she treated it like her room back at home. Walking around in just a simple, large t-shirt, Leah begun to dress for the day. Pulling out a pair of sheer tights to put under a pair of shorts, she matched it with a red and black striped top that draped down a shoulder. Tugging on a pair of combat boots as well, Leah glanced at her hair, which luckily remained in their curls while she slept. Leah stepped out of her cabin, and the sun stunned her still sleepy eyes. Quickly retreating back into her cabin, Leah grabbed her aviators, and placed them on. She was utterly tired, but did not feel like having someone banging on her door again to come wake her. Leah typically was a morning person, but being here in the demi-god camp, it had certainly changed her mood about anytime of day. Who wanted to live on a schedule? Certainly not Leah. Trudging her feet through the dirt-ground, Leah made her way to the dining hall. If there was one thing she had to say was good about this place, it would probably be that the food was not too bad. Taking a plate of french toast, she sat and ate slowly. Leah had a cabin by herself, and she did not know anyone either, since she failed to introduce herself and no one has spoken to her. It has only been a couple of weeks, although she has seen some friendships. Through a chew, she scans the room, people seemed to be incredibly busy, rushing in and out of dining hall.
