"yeah" Joe nodded with a slight smile. Her pale skin seemed to glitter a little in the sun of the day, so did Zack's. Zack walked over to a bike. "dude you dont own one" she rolled her eyes. Zack smirked. "oh yes i do. this is mine" he said but looked at the sky. "wish it was night" he muttered and looked at the two. "anyways, see you later Joe. nice meeting ya Ash" he said and zipped off.

Alex looked at the marks that covered his pale skin and nodded. "yup" he said, running his fingers along his arm a little. the scars stuck out a little but not a whole ton when you felt along the skin. he took his stele from his pant pocket and started to run it across the wall. a sign glowed and then the wall was see through. he smirked feeling good about being able to do that.

Ash raised an eyebrow. “I hate to be overprotective, but he reminds me of the cross between an adorable bunny rabbit and puppy, but with fangs and an alarmingly polite disposition.”

Joe laughed. "thats nice" she said, wiping tears from under her eyes. sadly, Zack was exactly as Ash said. his family definately raised him well.

"we shall" Alex said and thouht about her question about the shadow hunter. she had to be... she didn't die on the spot when he did the stele on her skin. his brain hurt...

“I know,” Ash said simply. “You low on blood or anything, Miss Mosquito?” He tapped his foot absently as his hair turned almost silver in the distant streetlights.

Bella smiled and pushed away, to leave the institute. Her waist-length hair was a bit wavy, but straight enough.

Joe shuffled her feet a little, embarrassed. "just a bit" she said holding her fingers up and making a small sign with them. "and hey! i am not a mosquito" she said, but a smile was etched upon her face.

Alex followed after her with a slight smile. his eyes bored in a way. he looked around the institute as if there was something completely new about it. he shrugged it off. "i am taking you to the best food place in new york" he smirked.

"no one does" Alex retorted with a smirk of playful teasing. he pressed the elevator door and it opened. he got in and held the door fr her to comein too. he looked aat the high ceiling and sighed.

"no Mosquitos bite and si.p i drink" she said with a teasing grin. her smile radiated under the moonlight. she looked at his hair and saw how it was silver. she now knew how Bella felt about Alex's hair. wanting to touch it.

Bella walked into the elevator, boots sliding across the floor with their loved, worn fabric. She leaned against the wall and chewed the inside of her cheek, looking everywhere but at Alex.

Ash glanced at Joe and uncomfortableness weighed heavily in the look. “Um, you look like you’re about to start drooling. Is my blood type too much for you? I’ve hooked up with other vamps before, so I know that negative A is, like, the champagne of blood types, right?”
