I saw the woman offer her hand for me to sniff which I hesitated at first.
Eventually I did it. She smelled like that bitter coffee stuff and
cranberry. I then lifted my let paw to put it in her warm hands.
I've been cold for awhile, so this is the closest I can get to a
mom's fur. I yip at her and give her a small smile with a tongue out.

She smiled and petted the dog happily, “Oh Bucky is going to love you darling. You’ll be good for him” she smiled scratching behind the dogs ears

I lay down on my bed, playing Fruit Ninja on the tablet.
I really do need to start my love life. I mean, look at me.
It's been 71 years since I kissed a lady. It would be awful

I cough even more, then down a pill from earlier.
The files of Loraine and John lay on my bedstand
as my eyelids get heavier and heavier by the second.

He smirked at Bucky and watched him play.

He was silent, looking between them.

I opened one of my eyes hoping that mischievous voice
would disappear. But somehow I felt an airy presence
nearby.

I felt my self being placed down from the warm hands, and into a car.
It made me remember the time they sent me to the shelter. But luckily,
today I'm the one getting out of it.
Pouncing around in the seats, I see that I have a new blue collar
awaiting for me. I use one of my paws to tap on it for curiosity,
but the rope thing did nothing. Leaving it alone, I use
my two front paws to level my self up to see the man
driving.
