Greed listened, a serious expression falling over his face, "Then we'll fight with all the power we have." He said, clutching Father Time close, "As long as it means it will safe you, then we'll do anything we can to help." He embraced the older, fearing the worst. "We have to hurry. We need the portal, and quick." He said urgently, carefully lifting Father Time in his arms.

Elise managed a smile and slowly came up beside Greed. "Yes, we'll certainly help where we can." she said, attempting to hide the pain she was in though she didn't understand why. She muttered, "Stupid empathy."
Father Time shivered hard. "Then...we must go...Greed, gather them...you know how th..." he paused to wheeze loudly, ending with a ragged, painful cough. His hour was soon, he knew. And, for the first time in a long time, he was...scared. Father Time exhaled gently. "How this works." He used a shaky arm to reach into his pocket, and he grabbed him pocket watch. "I...Greed, I n...need conflict for a moment. I need to see where U...where he is." Father Time shivered hard, moaning lowly. "Somebody insult somebody...but only once...otherwise it will...end me."
Elise groaned. 'Terrific,' she thought, 'more pain. Why was I cursed with this much empathy?' She watched those around her and decided she might as well insult Greed. "Fine," she grumbled, then looked at Greed and said, "You're an imbecile." She then grimaced as the pain hit her, 'BLASTED EMPATHY' she screamed in her thoughts.
