"Don't touch it." She automatically scolded the other tiefling in an absent tone, turning back to her examination of the door Finos was taken through. She wondered what exactly she was still doing here, other than not having anywhere better to be. Sharp turned back to the dragonborn, considering her casual posture. "Do you suppose saying this sort of thing out loud helps with your chances?"

Thavan suddenly felt eyes on him and he turned around, turning to see Alex. "... Uh, hi... Sorry, uh- how long have you been standing here?" he asked, as calm as he could be in his current state. Thankfully the burning sensation was mostly gone though he was still uncomfortable standing in front of a doctor in his current state.

As Alex has entered Thavan’s room to tend to him, a couple more nurses come to take the less critical patients in. “Meran and... Sharp and Pointy...?” The nurse calls, her voice confused at the odd name.

"That's me," Meran said, rising from her chair. "So I don't gotta wear one of those hospital gowns that don't cover your butt, right? Cuz, like, I got hit in the face, so I shouldn't need one, and that'd be kinda awkward. Walking over to where the nurse stood, the dragonborn bent over and whispered into her ear. "Also, if you're working for those dudes in red, you should totally slip me some handcuff keys. Didn't wanna complain in front of the squad, but these things kinda hurt, and they're super inconvenient."

Averis' eyes narrowed when the nurse called for him to enter the room with the dragonborn, who had already walked towards her. He assumed that the dragonborns name was either Meran or Sharp and Pointy, probably sharp and pointy cause she doesn't seem that smart. He huffed and stood, holding his boot in one hand, and made his way towards the nurse. As he approached, he couldn't not hear the dragonborn whispering to the nurse. How could someone in an actual legit government facility possibly think to try and get a nurse of all people to get her out of her handcuffs!? He walked a little past the dragonborn and towards the room the nurse came from and gave the scaled tyrant a sharp whack with his tail, the side with the jewelry. "ain't so smart are ya lizard, you're getting more than ya deserve so why not shut that snout of yours and stop causing trouble."

"Y'know, I can't help but feel that you don't like me very much," Meran said as the nurse led them to a room. This guy was Sharp and Pointy, then. Odd name, but tieflings were like that. Her crew chief back in the 507th was a tiefling called Anarchy. They always joked that she was only a crew chief because nobody was going to give someone with a name like that a security clearance. After the nurse checked their vitals, she left for a bit, presumably to get a doctor. Meran took the opportunity to search the room, looking for something that might help open the lock on her cuffs. "You wouldn't happen to have a hairpin on you, would ya?" Meran asked. "Normally I've got one, but I think it fell out somewhere."

Averis glared at the dragonborn as he leaned against the wall of the room, arms crossed, rolling his eyes at her statement. "what makes ya think that? I wonder what could possibly make me not like ya? hmm, maybe the fact that ya almost killed some people out there? maybe the fact that we lost tha red robes? i'm not a great guy but that was way too much ya lizard." He took a deep breath and gripped his arm, feeling his claws through his jacket.
Averis watched 'sharp and pointy' poke around the room. He would have done so himself if his burn wasn't stinging like the claw of a fiend was constantly scratching at his ankle. "oh. oh! so ya want my help now? I probably have something like that on me but why in tha nine hells would I give it to ya? if we weren't in a hospital right now you'd be findin a bullet in that scaly skull of yours." he motioned to the pistol still strapped to his leg. His rifle had been confiscated by the police but he knew it'd be back on his back by the time he left the hospital. He was part of a pretty skilled community and as far as the police were concerned, that gun was entirely legal.
