"That's a good thing," Jae said.

Silver snorted. "Well, I'm not afraid of them, I'm leaving. Bye." Silver turned to go. "Oh yeah, Jace, don't even try calling that number..." She walked off, back to her apartment.

"You bet he did." She called over her shoulder, before continuing to walk.

Jace smirked, backing off. "I've had 700 years full of different girls. Don't think that one lost one will put me into agony." and with that, he turned and walked away.

Silver got back to her apartment, and sat down it her kitchen table. "What did Jace mean by 'maybe'?" She wondered out loud.

"Maybe he means to mislead you. Vampires and Faerys, especally the old ones, can be very tricky to figure out" called a vioce from the doorway. Sara stepped forward into the dim light.

Silver looked at Sara. "How'd you get in here?" She stood up, and walked over, standing about 6 feet away.
