Ookami looked to Grisil and blinked. "Airus. . ." the boy shivered and looked at the wolf "I thought you agreed not to call me that. . ." his voice was quiet, wisened. "but his spirit lives within you . . ." she looked at Asha "I did. And I do. The bathhouse is still in the Asakura household. The old river was a guardian spirit, his name is Kohaku." she stood up and walked around the two. "You mean the legends? The stories. . .the Sacred Warriors. . .the wind witch." His voice dropped and Ookami nodded. "every bit was true. We must move, the winds are looking for something. They dare not go close to the bathhouse. It is safe."

And now it seemed some sort of emotional bomb had just been dropped! Yet the wolf, who for some reason had chosen this particular moment of encounter with a random stranger asking for intel in front of their house to drop this dramatic piece of information, seemed to continue immediately on her idea of seeking refuge with said stranger at an abandoned century-old historical site. Oh Gods the cultural breach between humans and shamans! Oh the fantastic breach between spirits and people! How it was all linked! My! And yet Asha felt in themself a strange willingness to power through this: whether a whimsy of contempt, curiosity, or kindness they could not tell. Perhaps, they reflected later, it was simply nostalgia.
They craned their neck to grasp a bit of the young shaman's eyes and offer them what would hopefully be a comforting vision in their shock. "Well if..." they offered softly, a molten color bouncing off the rim of their earrings, "if it can be of any comfort, I'm actually acquainted with someone who, like you, is linked to the last generation of fighters. She's a young girl of about twelve who, very much like you, carries the soul of an old warrior... The one called Asakura Arisu? Maybe if the two of you would like to meet I could put you in contact with her?" Immediately, Asha realized they'd never been given Arisu's expressed permission to share this fact about her young client; what of spies, eavesdroppers, information leaks? Was this sensitive information? Unclear. They'd never truly asked themselves the question.
Asha inhaled slowly in an attempt to dissipate a rising frown and noted for future reference to review the boundaries of their professional and personal life.
"Wait," an attempt to get back on track and somewhat of a realization. "You just mentioned the winds looking for something... But I know for a fact no minion-spies have been released into the city: does that mean Pliea is hunting for something or someone in particular?" They looked back down at the wolf, a tint seriousness developing in their round visage. "Please, I know this is not how things are usually shared amongst shaman, but if there is something bigger going on, I need to know. Any development of the Shaman Fight affects businesses and the safety of locals! Is Pliea taking action as we speak?"

Ookami blinked tilting her head, "so she goes by her old name. And the old cat?" her voice chuckled "life for you of the living is too short to understand the minds of spirits. But yes, Pliea is looking. Searching for anyone with blood ties to the ones that nearly defeated her. As am I." Grisil listened quietly slowly understanding the wolf's words. "You mean the Five Warriors, and the Oni?" The wolf nodded and Grisil frowned a bit more "but Asakura line has practically dissapeared." The wolf shook her head and looked to the north, her fur being moved by an unfeelible wind. "she knows we're here. We must move. Before she sends trouble. she looked at Ash, and gave a saddened look "I am sorry, that we have brought the angry wind to your doorstep."

((Starting Monday I probably won't be able to post as much since school is starting again... /: maybe it'll give Ry and Tsu a chance to catch up?))

•Asha•

Asha nodded nervously now as the wolf conveyor-belted news after news into their ears, flipping briefly back when she was mentioned to the image of the small Asakura Arisu sitting with her crotchety spirit of a cat at the market bistro table where they'd decided to meet for business: a muscular blonde apparition of a child, and a historical figure. And it should have come as no surprise –none at all!– that the Shaman Fight would dig up history; yet it was a tradition they abhorred so exactly that the programmer had chosen to forget it, even when combing through the purple eyes of their tiny mythical client. This is what they'd signed up for, and this is what they would have to deal with until the world was ripe enough to be molded into something slightly less ridiculous than what it currently was. That was just how it would be.
They chewed their lip and stepped off the bike, still holding it's black rubbery handles, glancing back at the house where they knew Mari to be out cold. "Please, then," they turned to the spirit who continued to to fall in ripples of fur and ice in front of them, "before we leave– before anything, I need to know: should I be worried for my girlfriend?" Their tone was urgent, but not panicked. "She's inside the house; she's human and has nothing to do with this. Being personally involved is fine by me, just tell me before we have to go if she is too: I'll go get her if I need to, then we'll go."

"There is a chance, if you come with us, that you'll never see her again." Ookami responded, her voice steady, calm."If you can't live with that then I would recomend bringing her. . .Though I cannot be certin that She'll be safe either way." the wolf stood her fur bristling as she snorted "Think quickly, we have little time." Grisil turned to face the direction his spirit was looking, a frown on his face."I'd grab her'n run. Get to the bathhouse. If this Asakura is like the one of the stories, they'll be kind'n willing. . . We'll follow soon as we can'' the shaman spoke with resolve in his voice, a half cocked grin on his face. "Don' worry. We got this."

(nothing much, basically a lot of talk between Asha and Grisil. oh and Ryoshi, and Arisu have entered the bathhouse. I'll qoute my last post to you. )

Bahamut's Regent wrote:(Tis fine, life gets busy)

Celeste smiled and moved slowly about the room pulling various objects from shelves and lighting new incense. The cloying scent of lavender, sandlewood, and other smell mingled together as she moved. She paused in front of Amidamaru speaking softly "It's my pleasure, as I don't get much company."

Kohaku's wove through the halls till the sound of a small waterfall could be heard. He paused a moment, before walking into the room filled with steam. He lowered himself into the hot water, tiny ripples moving across the surface. "you may join me, there is more than enough room"

Amidamaru smiled back at Celeste as he replied, "You do have a lovely home. I would be glad to stay here. Maybe we could train together as well. From what I've heard, shamans that work together to get to Dobey Village last longer."

Yamata no Orochi allowed her full form to show as she slid into the water, following Kohaku with a gurgle of happiness. 'This is lovely,' she murmured, closing her eyes as she relaxed into the water.

"Yes, training would go well to have actual opponents." Celeste gave a thoughtful murmur, looking over the silver haired male. "I would enjoy it, actually. . ." she paused looking around. "Did you hear something?"

Kohaku's chuckled and turned to face the other spirit. His deep jade eyes, holding amusement as he spoke. "Water always feels best. And this spring runs fresh, untainted." He lowered his body down to slither across the surface towards the small rocky alcove that the fresh water fell from. "Have you heard the winds lately?"

Amidamaru paused and fell silent, trying to see if he could hear something. Shaking his head, he replied, "No, I didn't hear anything."

Yamata shook her head as she answered, 'Most of the time, it seems confused. Sometimes....I can't tell what it is saying and it worries me.'
