Username: Bearcoon
Name: Quinn O'Connell
Nickname: Quinn's short enough =P
Age: 18 Years
Gender: Female
Description: Of average height, at least she thinks she is, Quinn is a rather typical Irish woman. With pale and freckled skin, moderately long curling bright hair, and beautiful green eyes. She was built to be quick and agile, which she uses to her great advantage.
Her usual outfit is rather plain, typical brown breeches with knee high boots, a few buttons missing here and there. Her shirt used to be white, but with living aboard the ship even when in port and the life she's living, it's not exactly that color anymore.
History: Quinn was born under somewhat strange and unwanted circumstances. Her father was a rather well off merchant and her mother the man's maid. It was kept as quiet as something of that nature possibly could be until Quinn was born. Things fell into a relatively simple pattern after that, the secret not exactly being let out but speculated on by most.
Five year later, Quinn's mother disappeared, obviously having run off and leaving Quinn's raising solely up to her father. The man had absolutely no idea what he was doing, leaving most of the job to the various household staff, only making Quinn's resentment grow.
By the time she were twelve Quinn had already forged quite the reputation for herself, and only furthered it from then on out. By some she was considered absolutely mad, divine punishment for her father's affair, but Quinn never took the time to notice. She had far to much fun terrorizing the servants, as she was now in charge of running the house.
When finally the joys in that ran out, Quinn stowed away on her father's ship determined to find her new adventure, pirates. It was not long until the ship were boarded and Quinn was begging for her life in front of the captain. Amused by her, the captain took her along for no other reason than just that, amusement. It only served to inflame Quinn's resolve to prove herself just as good as the men, which she did eventually do, earning her freedom and a rank among the rest of the crew.
Unfortunately, when her ship was boarded she was stolen away by the same ship she is still stuck on.
Personality: Quinn found out quickly how to fall in line with a crew of surly men, having perfected the art by now it's become her default personality. Loud, forward, and certainly no one to be trifled with. She has a strange sense of humor, keeping others on edge on what she's serious about and what she isn't. She doesn't mind death, blood, gore, in fact sometimes it seems that she likes it.
In all actuality it's more of a mask than anything else. Somewhere down there Quinn really regrets ever running away and being as terrible as she has been, but she knows it's far to late. She's determined to make the best of it, convincing herself it is still what she wants most in life.

Weaknesses- Forward, Loud, Never Lets Things Go, Quick Temperered
Likes- A Good Fight, Toying With The Men, The Sea, Adventures, Guns, Rapiers and Knives, Hot Food, Beer

Other:I do realize that Umi and Quinn seem to have a few of the same things in their histories. If this is a problem I can totally chuck Quinn out and play another of my pirate characters.
Name: Felix
Nickname:
Age: 17 Years
Gender: Male
Brief Description: Shorter than average, which annoys Felix to no end. Aside from this, he likes to think himself good looking. He's the average blond type, shaggy blond hair and average blue eyes. His skin is tanned from spending his life working out on the deck or being up in the crow's nest all day, though he was originally rather pale. He was built to scramble up and down the rigging, perfect for the job of scout. He's rather good in a fight too, favoring a rapier more than a gun, but he's happy to us either.
History: There isn't a time Felix can remember that pirates have not been part of his everyday life. His mother worked and lived at a seaside tavern somewhere in France, raising Felix there without any worry for the boy's well being. Felix never really realized there was anything wrong there, enjoying the company of pirates and other sailors. What he never could understand were the women they kept company with, finding them the most strange creature to ever walk the earth.
The moment he was able to, around 15 years old, Felix got himself hired onto the ship. His mother had no trouble with this, having another child to raise and certain Felix was man enough to make his own way at that point. He's been bounced around from ship to ship, his disagreeable disposition causing him this.
Personality: Socially awkward. Felix just never got the art of social graces down, having grown up in a seaside tavern. Manners and how to get along with people just dont really rear their heads in places like that. Felix says things he probably shouldn't, he cant really keep a secret unless under death threat, he's gotten to be known as an insensitive jerk by some people, mostly female.
Felix himself does not see anything wrong with himself, wondering what everyone else's problem is when this sort of thing happens. He does try, really. It just doesn't work when you dont see yourself as a problem.
Strengths- Observant, Thinks Out-side Conventional Means, Works Well When Given A Goal,
Weaknesses- Rebellious, See Personality, Oblivious To Own Faults, Picks Out Negatives Easily
Likes- Working By Himself, Being In Charge, Causing Trouble, Breaking Rules, Swords and Knives
Dislikes- Difficult People, Women, People In Power Above Him, Rules, Guns
Fears- Death of course, Having To Be Scout Forever, Never Getting Anywhere In Life, Failure
Rank: Scout
