Personality: Yurei can best be described as a loose cannon. Excitable and easy to fire up, she can come across as intense when she can't keep a lid on her passions. She is outspoken and talks much faster than she thinks. She has no bones about getting confrontational which has not worked out in her favor several times. Despite her fire, she takes criticism personally and will get defensive if her flaws are pointed out. Regardless of this, she is fiercely loyal and will stand up for her friends. Her experience with healing bonds has given her a knack for troubleshooting relationship problems.

Crypto Tiger, on the other hand, balances Yurei's temper with his level head. He can be dry and biting in words, but he looks out for Yurei and reels her back when need be.
History: Yurei comes from a place where having spirit monsters is normal and a accepted. However using your spirit monster in a duel damages the bond between human and spirit. Too much damage, and your spirit is severed from you. While there is a small culture of duelists who use their spirit monsters, it's generally seen by average duelists as barbaric and cruel.

Yurei comes from a family of empaths who heal monster-human bonds, and was chosen by Crypto Tiger at a young age both for the challenge of maintaining a fireball like Yurei and for her natural healing ability. After years of quietly serving some of the most talented spirit duelists around, she grew frustrated and bored with being a humble healer. She wanted in on the action, and began secretly entering spirit duels with Crypto Tiger. Her father found out and was none too please. Yurei was sent to Duel Academy to learn more wholesome forms of dueling. While she initially tested into Ra Yellow due to her unique strategies and quick wits, she was bumped down to Slifer Red for her attitude.

Rosalia wandered around the shole of Duel Academy's beach. Classes were done for the day and she was bored. There didn't seem to be much to do here. A friend would be nice though. Her dog, Hybrid, stayed close to her, never straying far from her.
