Actually, this isn't against the rules. The only thing Tess is talking about in that rule is that it can't be a trade between CS and AJ or vice-versa.

Due to the high number of scammers, any trades involving Animal Jam are banned from CS. Off-site trade threads on CS should also have some connection to CS itself by offering or trading CS pets/items/C$, so you're not allowed to make a thread just to trade off-site currency or items for other off-site currency or items. Please use the other sites themselves or a forum dedicated to the site for those kinds of trades.
