I read a person's post on another site that said she shipped Johnlock because it was fun and creative. But if you asked her seriously if she shipped Johnlock, she would say no, because the bond Sherlock and JOhn share is so much more than romance.

I was late to the Sherlock party and I found it out not long ago. I have always been a fan of Sir Author Conan Doyle and began watching many movies. Then I saw many good reviews and being a big fan of Benedict Cumberbatch I thought it would be good. I was wrong. It was GREAT. I fell in love with it and for a while my fiance thought I was crazy staying up and watching my laptop's screen with burst of laughter here and there.

I personally don't like the shipping. Mainly because I want Cumberbatch to myself, and because I feel like I've had it shoved in my face too much. I joined a few fan groups of dA before I knew of the shipping, and had hardcore Johnlock shoved in my face as a result which was a tad shocking to someone who had never even imagined them together sexually at all.
I also personally can't see them together in a romance situation at all. Sure the jokes are great, I make jokes like that all the time in real life, but them actually being together? I just can't see the characters doing that.

I haven't been on this thread in a while (kind of drifted since Sherlock isn't back on tv yet) but this is getting a bit like a Jhonlock argument thread over those who like it and those who don't. Reading on here that people who do like it should stay away and stuff is not very nice, could we please get back to nice discussions? Like, what if Sherlock dyed his hair? Or learnt how to tap dance?

How do you think John will react when Sherlock comes back? In the books he faints but Moffat and Gatiss say that isn't a likely reaction. I honestly believe he'll punch Sherlock in the face (again.) Reichenbach was my favorite episodes but at the same time I wanted to rip my heart out. My eyes were already gone from all the tears.

I could totally see John punching Sherlock. It would be funny but a loving moment.

I'm defiantly agreeing with a punch here, he'll be happy but angry for sure.
