Huh, I just realized something pretty neat.

The 9th of May is Howard Carter's (the man who discovered King Tuts tomb) birthday! It's also the retail release of "Tomb of the Lost Queen." I wonder if that's just an awesome coincidence or if HER planned it that way? XD

Happy Birthday ash!! (or belated birthday now I guess) I share the same birthday as Charles Dickens! That is pretty neat that they released it around Howard Carter's birthday. If that wasn't planned, then it's an amazing coincedence!

On a similar note, it's getting easier and easier for me to translate those hieroglyphs in the game. I pretty much memorized what letters most of the symbols represent now. It's a lot easier then real hieroglyphs. I actually love all the translation puzzles in the Nancy Drew games.

Yeah, I love the translation puzzles, too. <3 Except for when I already know the answer, like I've said before. XD "Her necklace says Crane! Nancy, you don't need to buy that book on Kanji, I already know what that box says! It's just the elements! Ughh, do we have to look at the book on Italian? I already know everything in here!"

For the record, I actually do mutter this sort of thing angrily to Nancy on occasion. >__> Nancyyyy why can't you read my mind

You would think that Nancy would learn some languages going to all those places!
And you would think she would atleast try to learn a little bit of it before she went to... wherever she happens to be going.

Ha ha! I yell at Nancy too! XD Didn't she say once in 'Danger by Design' that she had taken a few years of French? And then she couldn't even hold a conversation with that guy. Traqunard, was it? I actually wish the translation puzzles were a little harder in 'Tomb of the Lost Queen'. They're pretty easy. I loved the one where you had to decipher the children's names! It was like translating real hieroglyphs.

I do need some help though... I'm a little stuck. Does anyone know where the last bird tile is? I have the vulture and the hoopoe. But I can't find the last one. (I'm trying to do the whole game without using a walkthrough or the HER forums) Just a little hint will do. I only have four things on my tasklist, and that's the main one.

I do have an inkling as to who the culprit is. But I'm not going to say, because I'm usually wrong, and if it turns out to be right, I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

Oh, and Hotchkiss is awesome! "Ahoy-hoy!" ^^

I've only got to play a halfhour on the game and i haven't even gotten that far in the tomb.

i hate when you have to translate something you have already translated about six times! its so annoying. and yes, i am also guilty at yelling at Nan!

If i had a dollar for everytime a yelled at Nancy... i would be rich!

At the ending of every game i am always yelling at Nancy "Why don't you bring a gun with you or something?!"
I mean really... Nancy needs to learn of some way to protect herself.
There has been 1 to many times she has almost died because she was helpless!
