Dude, seriously. I'm just stating my opinion. I know there are girls that can cosplay guys, and I think it's cool. It's just a little disturbing, don't you think? And when guys cosplay girls. It's just the tiniest bit unsettling to see that. That someone could easily pass as the opposite gender.

I'm in the middle. It's a little odd, but a cool talent to have. I agree that they made too big a deal over one wrong statement, but I also agree with them that it was a comment that came off offensive to many, myself included.

I never meant it as offensive. Disturbing doesn't mean I hate it. Disturbing is just a little unsettling. I may like it, but it's just something inside finds it weird and just doesn't sit with me right - even though I really like it.

I think it is really cool, like this one couple that cosplays Final Fantasy. But don't you find it a bit weird to see someone you thought was a guy, turn out to be a girl? Or vice versa?

I don't think it's weird at ALL! It's like acting you dress up and act but they are dressing up as the opposite gender, have you not seen Charley's Aunt? The play is all about a guy dressing up as a girl (almost perfect) and chaperoning his friends. No one I know found it disturbing and I don't think too many other people find dressing up and acting disturbing either. No I don't care what gender you are just you cosplaying as a person is kewl to me...

Yes, I have considered crossplay. But I know I won't look like a guy. Guys who are effeminate sometimes scare me - take Kuja. For the longest time, I thought he was a girl. When I found out he was a guy, I screamed and tried to ignore him. But he kept coming back, and I had to accept the scary reality he was a guy. He's just so........

It's not unsettling, it's not uncommon, but it could be viewed as strange. I've cosplayed as Eridan many times, and people have thought it was a little weird, but hey if I can double up W's it's fine.
Maybe everyone should settle it over PM. If it's big enough an issue, you will. If it's not, please drop it.
