It's May for everyone right now. Depending on your timezone, at the time of this post, it's either May 29 or May 30. It's not summer for anyone either. It's either spring or fall depending on your hemisphere (spring in the north, fall in the south).
It might feel like summer, but summer doesn't actually start for almost a month.
Anyway, lots of fun things going on with my sims! :D
I've had a lot of play time during the last couple days, so my game has gone on almost a full year since I last posted. xD (Also, I made sure to remember my sim-girl's name. It's Lexi)

Not too long after getting back from doing some training with Digit, Lexi noticed a weird shine in the sky above her house while observing the sky through her new telescope. She ran out to investigate, only to find a strange-looking sim inspecting one of the cars she keeps around to impress her crush, Odin. Being sort of odd-looking herself, Lexi decided to be friendly and strike up a conversation. The two quickly became friendly, though the conversation didn't last too long. This strange sim had somewhere to be. Unfortunately for Lexi, she was going too whether she wanted to or not.
Luckily, her captors where friendly and returned her swiftly. She's still not quite sure what happened exactly, but she still considers the alien a friend, so it couldn't have been too bad.

Now this is how you jump!
After her encounter with the alien, Lexi found it hard to sleep, so she took Lita out for some late night training. The two of them flew all night without a single dropped rail. It was definitely a good end to a questionable day!

Heck yeah, igloos!

Soon, Winter had passed and Spring swooped in, melting the snow and making everything a little brighter. Because Kazima had been such a good kitty all winter while being cooped up, Lexi got her a fancy kitty condo and placed it right by Kazima's favorite window. This made her a very happy kitty. Maybe her new condo will make her less grumpy and more accepting of Lexi's boy toy.

Now it's Autumn's turn for a little training. She did wonderfully, making it over almost all the jumps without knocking them. She definitely wasn't flawless, but she did much better than Lexi had anticipated. She'll make a fine show jumper once she's finished her training. Lexi can't wait to see how she does.

The next day after her training session with Autumn, Lexi received an invitation to Odin's party! Why he was having everyone show up in their swim-wear in early spring, Lexi didn't know, but she complied with the dress code. Now would be the perfect chance to try to convince Odin to leave his horrible wife.
She spent the whole party trying to hint to him about making his decision, but it wasn't until she gave up on subtle and started practically throwing herself at him that he realized what she was getting at.

Heather was watching, and he knew, so he started playing back, flirting with her in full force. Heather looked on loathingly. They'd been fighting for a while already, so when she finally snapped and threw them both out, it was hardly more than a relief for both of them.
Of course, this meant Odin had nowhere to stay, so Lexi offered him a place at her home. He gladly accepted.

The next night, they danced together under the stars and he surprised her with a ring. It hadn't been long since they met, but he was ready to be with her. Lexi was overjoyed! She didn't think he'd be willing to even think about marriage so soon after the rough breakup with his ex.

Being that they didn't exactly 'wait for marriage', it was barely morning before Lexi felt the stirrings of life in her belly. Odin was exceptionally supportive, treating her like a princess, and waiting on her hand and foot.

This screencap, I just love. Pregnant and in her formalwear, she still insists on biking wherever she's going, haha.

In the wee hours of a fine summer day, Lexi leaps up from her late-night reading, clutching her belly. Like every first-time, excited dad-to-be, Odin immediately jumps out of bed and proceeds to freak out with her. It takes the two of them over an hour to calm themselves and get over to the hospital where Lexi gives birth to a handsome, healthy baby boy whom they name Malcom.

Life with a new baby is hard, but the two are more in love than ever. They soon realize they never actually got married! Rather than have a public wedding, they decide to exchange vows in their favorite room of the house, the kitchen. This was nicer than a public wedding, anyway. Everyone in town was gossiping about Lexi having their baby out of wedlock, no need to risk talk of that at their wedding.

A few days after their wedding, Malcom grows into a handsome toddler. He seems to look a lot like his mother, but has his daddy's eyes.
He's definitely the most adorable baby any of my sims have had.

And hopefully Lexi starts keeping a better eye on him . . .
