Hey guys! Playing the game right now! I have the Prescott family:

Amelia (Mom, adult, Green thumb, good sense of humor, loner, lucky, vegaterian.)
Brandon (Son, Teen, Great kisser, Flirty,party animal, light sleeper.)
Danny (Son, Teen, Lucky, Evil, Kleoptowhatever (Stealing), Computer whiz.)

I'm planning on having Danny have a room made of stuff he's swiped, and live off of hacking. He got caught trying to swipe, any tips?

Try not to steal when you're around other sims
There are mods out there that can help make Klepto's more fun too ^_^

The C drive on my computer is not very big and I only have very important things installed on it (Such as the OS and microsoft Office). So I installed Sims (and all my other games and programs such as PS and Endless Forest and Zoo Tycoon) onto the E drive, the one that is MASSIVE. This works fine for everything else, but Sims still insists on saving my games on the C drive even though that means creating a new folder by itself. I've got less than two GBs of space left there now, and so the whole computer runs really slow.

Does anyone know how to change the save destination and move over my saved games?

You need to edit the registry but I don't suggest you do that as even I am not comfortable doing that on my PC.

The registry is what keeps all your programs installed. Like a directory for games to work from. Changing it potentially has the chance to backfire on you, but if done right, you can get the sims to save somewhere completely different

I had my partner do it for me a few years ago. But I have like over a terabyte of hard drive space, so i need not worry xD.

But, save files for the sims 3 aren't actually that big. Its the the sims 3 folder in your "My Documents" that has all the extra problems.

Do you use things from the exchange? if you do, and you install them via the launcher, then go into your Documents - Electronic arts - Sims 3 - Downloads and just delete everything in there. This will NOT uninstall your sims store content. It will just delete the extra files that are sitting there.

Another thing you can do is delete your cache every now and again
