So, I'm getting Seasons on Friday. Can't wait! (My mom gave me an IOU like thing today. She took a piece of paper and printed the Seasons' cover on it and had "You can download it on Friday!!" So I have to wait :S) What is something I should try out first when I get it? (Only other expansions I have are pets and Supernatural)

Well, the seasons will start automatically when you start up the game. There isn't much you can really try till the new festival comes to town lol. Once thats come, just send a sim over and see what they choose to do first, then work your way through the festivals and seasons.

You could try shortening the seasons a bit in the options menu if you wanted

Well for Christmas I got ambitions and supernatural, the two I wanted. And soon we will be going to Walmart so I can b7uy late night and world adventures. My only disappointment is when I installed them my gsmell got really laggy. Oh Well. What do u guys suggest I try out first

Chry could probably give you a better answer, but I really think it depends on your graphic card and how much memory your computer has and can handle

I'm sad because after about a few months I wanted to play the sims 3 again but my families were all gone. ;-;

I'm wondering, if I somehow reset a back-up will the families maybe be back? (wishful thinking, I know xD)

For those of you that has generations, what's one thing you recommend doing instantly?

Having kids lol. Generations is an overall expansion. It's not like supernatural where you can do lots of different things at once. Its all about the kids for generations. It's a legacy based expansion in my opinion. It just adds bits and pieces to give you more interactions and keep you amused from birth until death really.

I started off with a child to see what it'd allow me to do at first. It's pretty fun so far, except my bonehilda refuses to stop playing hopscotch. She played all day and half the night. x) I dismissed her then my fireplace caught my living room on fire, which caught the mom sim on fire. The dad sim went and put her out but got caught on fire and died until the dog brought him back by harassing death. xD

Nothing seems to be going my way this December. Or year.
My dad just lost all my disks -.-
And I didnt get a gift for Christmas. And I never do.
I'm so lucky aren't I? .-.

That sucks, I hope you find them! And I hope you can at least get a game for your birthday.

Generations would be a very useful expansion for me yet I do not own it. :C In fact I only own 2 expansions, Pets and Supernatural. I'm wanting Generations and Seasons though, and overall that costs around ninety dollars, which I don't have. It's after Christmas so I can't get a single thing until like, February. xD Oh well~

For those who have Seasons, what's been the best thing and worst thing about it? ^^; I'm sort of curious.

Try this. It should tell you if your computer can handle it or not.
