On a different note, anyone have seasons yet? I have a couple questions, feel free to answer any or all:
1. What's your favorite part? Could be a specific season, holiday, item, anything
2. What season did you play first?
3. Any bugs so far?
4. Aliens. What do you think of them?
5. is it as awesome as it looks?

the last one is bold because it's important..... Anyway, I'm installing seasons as we speak (didn't work earlier -.-) and I have no clue what to do first..

Ok, so my favorite part of seasons, excluding the obvious which is the weather, are the festivals :)
My first season was summer, as that was how the game started off with lol.
The bugs aren't as bad as they were with other expansions, which I found to be a blessing lol. I've encountered a couple, but nothing too bad so far.
Haven't encountered aliens yet, but I am trying to get my man abducted so him and his wife can have an alien baby :D
The weather itself is amazing in how it looks and feels and how the sims interact with it. It should have been the first expansion out for the sims 3, but its ok :)

3. ive encountered a meshing bug, my people's arms get wings.. if you know what i mean.... you can see those meshing errors in spore too..
4. ive encountered an alien, i made one of my people flirt wiht her... then she left in a spaceship... her voice was awesome!
5. is it as awesome as it looks... to words for you MORE THAN!

1. What's your favorite part? Could be a specific season, holiday, item, anything

My favorite part, as someone else has mentioned, is winter. It is just fantastic. The snow, the activities, the brilliance of the season. Only thing I wish they would have included into the season is the ability to shovel snow from your entry, but other than that, I really did love that season best.

2. What season did you play first?

I started with Summer, as the game starts you there and I didn't change the settings on it. I am fine with the 7 days per season thing they got going on. ^^

3. Any bugs so far?

A few, but nothing game breaking or overly annoying like with other expansions, at least from what I can tell.

4. Aliens. What do you think of them?

Have yet to encounter one, so I cannot say anything there.

5. is it as awesome as it looks?

Considering I was expecting the expansion to be a massive flop despite the advertisement and enthusiasm for its release, I was very pleased, so yes, it really is at awesome as it looks. I would say even more so. I feel like they could have added more to it, either in clothes, traits, maybe even a town that would have fully abused of the different aspects of the game, but the more I play the less I am bothered by this.

1. Haven't had a whole lot of time to play lately, but I finally got to play some of winter and I adore the snow~<3 So far, it's my favorite thing, though I haven't gotten to Spring yet and that looks like it's going to have some good stuff ("Easter"!) so I may have to change my opinion later. xD

2. Summer. x] As was said, it's how you start the game. You can adjust the seasons and even turn them off, but even if you turn off Summer right away, it'll still have you play three days of it before switching to Fall.

3. No new ones that I've seen, though from what I hear, it's not really buggy for anyone. They did well on it. x]

4. I've encountered only one alien. She came to my house in the middle of the night, when everyone was asleep, and just stood around on my porch for a few hours, sneezing on my door, lol. They look pretty cool, though aside from that, not really sure since my experience with them is limited. xD

5. YES! :D The detail they added to the existing game and the attention to weather patterns/effects, in my opinion, really makes it worth it, even without a new town and such. It also comes with some really pretty furniture. Not a whole lot of it, but really nice, which I prefer over getting a load of crappy things, lol.

Does ambitions bring in the celebrity option? like, in the settings how you can control the fairy, vamp, cat, etc option it has celebrity... is that ambitions that gives you that option or what..?
& What does having a celebrity sim bring? just more people around your sim er..?

Late Night is the one that gives you the Celebrity option. I do not know much of the Celebrity status, so I can't help there, but I can assure you Ambitions brings no such thing.

Tammanae is right, Late night brings in the celebs. Basically, your sim will get discounts and more money etc, more opportunities, Paparazzi will follow your sim around and generally cause a nuisance of themselves lol. But just as being a celeb in real life, if you do something undesirable then you will be "slandered" in the paper and you won't get the perks of being a celebrity for a few days, or until you convince people the rumour isn't true.
