I'm down for a modern version of Catch-22 honestly?? I know that a film version already exists, but it's time that this gets love in the 21st century (+ the existing film version appears to be bad oof). Also, a movie version of "Pygmalion" where Higgins and Eliza aren't shipped (either explicitly or implicitly)? YES PLEASE. A faithful Frankenstein movie would also be amazing, but considering how much people know the pop-culture version and not the "actual" version that probably wouldn't be very practical...
Hopefully this isn't too off-topic, but HBO is making a new Fahrenheit 451 adaptation that will be released in the May of this year!! I'm kind of excited for it; I saw the trailer for it, and I must say that it looks pretty good so far. This may sound petty, but the one thing I'm hoping that this adaptation doesn't do is ship Clarisse with Montag. The ship just feels really off to me, and it has the potential to really butcher her character arc... But other than that I'm going to withhold judgement for that until it actually comes out and reviews start coming in. ^^
we shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.
